P.P.'s POV:
Dr. D found out about Destroya being taken away as soon as we got back and he started setting up groups of killjoys to deploy out with us. Normally, he wouldn't send out a mission for losing one of us but I think he had a soft spot for our group since he had known us the longest and maybe felt bad. Plus, Destroya was one hëll of a fighter. We would need her on our side.

"So, tomorrow morning at 5 a.m. I'll be callin' out orders for your mission and you go as fast as you can." Dr. D went over the plan.

"Yeah, okay." Jet Star shrugged.

"Fück, I don't want to wake up early." Fun Ghoul complained.

"I agree, it's too early." Grenade grumbled.

"Well, it's either rise-and-shine, get ready for battle or say goodbye to the girl. Your choices." The radio broadcaster pointed out.

"I'll go out there to do it alone if I have to, but it'll be safer as a group. If we go any later, there's a good chance that they would've already forced her to take the pills." I concluded before leaving them in the room with Dr. D.

I knew I was getting worked up about it in front of them and they'd just have to deal with it. My un-cleaned body crashed onto the bed as my angered thoughts coursed through my mind. Why did BL/Ind have to take her? They had come that close before and not bothered to grab hostages, so what made her so different to them? I sighed, knowing my questions would easily be answered the next morning.

My night was completely sleepless since my wandering thoughts kept me awake. Being up so early allowed me to wake everyone else up on time, making them groan and curse my name under their breaths which was pretty amusing. Well, at least for someone who hadn't spent the night sleeping whatsoever.

The intercom announcements went on as planned and we raced into the Trans Am before speeding into Battery City. There were about three or four vehicles trailing us with weapons ready to go. Just as we approached the outer city wall, the motors were silenced and we crept up to the sides. A tall, green-haired girl re-wired the security cameras and passcode within a few minutes then lead us inside behind her once they were taken care of. The people who accompanied her jogged off to the western outskirts of the city the another two throngs did the same but to the east or south.

"Time for us to charge into the main building. You guys ready?" Lithium asked around, receiving various positive or negative answers.

"Alright, Jet and Lithium are staying towards the bottom while Fun and Wyvern in the center with me going through the top floors." I commanded, sending off each pair to their designated search locations.

The security was surprisingly simple to mess around with and the elevator had taken me up within the last 2 minutes from not being able to recgnize the user. There was a long, dimly-lit hallway lined with white rooms and the floor was, much to our shock, free of anybody except for me. I stayed alert while sneaking as silently as possible around the hallway and peaking into each room to check for her.

Each was either empty or had a person lying unconscious on hospital beds with sickly pale skin tones and dull-colored hair while a machine pumped Better Living's shït into them through tubes attached to their wrists. It disgusted me to even think what was happening to their minds and of what could possibly be happening to Destroya. My curiousity was soon quenched when a gradient of blue hair flashed in front of a window followed by crashing noises as if there was a fight. Mindlessly, I barged into the room and aimed my ray gun at the BL/Ind official standing opposite of Destroya.

He mumbled some words into a walkie-talkie before pulling out his own weapon with a stern look over his unemotional face. The girl behind me shot to give him less reaction time, getting a shot through his collarbone-area and making him grimace in pain while clutching his new wound. I followed her actions, only on the corresponding area of his collarbone to increase his pain without immediately killing him. Alarms blared in our ears while flashing lights practically blinded us. We busted out of the room and ran out of the building as fast as we could manage. I yelled out each of our group members' names between the floors to let them know that so far we were succeeding.

As the rest of us piled into the Trans Am, Dracs began swarming the streets and blocking our route out of Battery City. The other killjoys in other vehicles fired their weapons without any second thoughts, driving over the bodies maniacally and leaving us to drive around their massacre. The minute we were back on the other side of the wall, I glanced behind the car. Just as I'd hoped, there wasn't a tail chasing behind us and everyone seemed to be in alright shape. Only a tiny detail was a little off- Destroya was actually wearing a jacket for once. She had told me that it was always too hot out in the desert to wear it. Maybe the dämned hospital was hot as hêll? I thought to myself.

"Thanks, Party." Her voice quietly piped up from the backseat.

"Can't leave an important killjoy like you with BL/Ind to fück you up." I replied.

"Because he'd rather be the one doing all that himself." Fun Ghoul smirked.

I pretended not to hear his immature statement. But my eyes couldn't help looking back at Destroya in the rearview mirror to catch her reaction. She turned extremely red, looking down at the floor, then glared at Fun Ghoul.
