"I figured that you should meet him before signing any papers." Sandra says as she guides you through a maze of hallways.

When you first met Sandra she had made you feel uncomfortable but now that you've talked to her a bit more, she's not so bad. She told you more about the job and the little details that would later on be important. You appreciated that. The only thing that she hasn't told you is who are you going to be working with? That was the most important detail of them all.

You hear drums and a guitar as you go further and further into the hallways. You walk past dozens of event workers and a few people from the media. Sandra flashes a card to a few people to continue walking on in the arena. The music grows louder and louder with each step that you take.

"Ah, here we are!" Sandra announces as she comes to an opening.

You slowly walk behind her as she makes her way on to the stage. You don't want to walk fully on to the stage though so you stay behind the wall that leads you to the stage. Sandra walks over to a group of boys on the other side of the stage and whispers with them. You notice the blonde one of the group stand up with her and make his way with her over to where you are.

"Holy shit..." You whisper as you realize his face.

"Niall, meet Kelly. Kelly, meet Niall." Sandra says as she stops in front of you.

"Nice to meet you Kelly..." Niall murmurs under his breath.

"Holy shit..." You say again.

Sandra lets out a small laugh and Niall furrows his eyebrows at you. He looks back to Sandra and shrugs his shoulders.

"Um, Kelly, is there anything else you would like to say?" Sandra says as she urges you on.

"Um, yeah, I guess, uh, hi?" You stutter as you keep your eyes locked on Niall.

"Hi..." He whispers, unsure of what else to say.

You can feel the akward tension in the air and you move your eyes from Niall to Sandra. She's smiling and looking at Niall. It's as if she's waiting for some kind of approval from him. She doesn't look away from him once in the few seconds that you're looking at her.

"Okay. Cool." Niall says as he nods his head and looks down at the ground.

"C'mon Niall! I think that this will be good for you..." She says as she wraps her arm around his tanned shoulders.

"Uh, yeah. Sure. Whatever..." He says as he nods again and turns around to make his way back towards the group.

Sandra sighs as you both watch him walk back to his group. The other boys briefly look over to you guys and begin to chatter. You know that they must be talking about you and the situation. Your face grows warm and your heart races. You suddenly feel really embarassed to be there.

"Don't worry about him sweetheart. He'll grow with the idea..." Sandra says as she smiles back at you.

"Yeah. Sure he will..." You whisper as you look down at the ground.

"C'mon now. Let's go sign some papers." She says as she smiles and leads you back into the maze of hallways.

Less than an hour later you're sitting in a small office reading over rules.

No fan interaction until the relationship is confirmed.

No talking to ANY media.

No taking photographs with fans.

No talk of your relationship on social media.

No speaking of your contract.

As you read the rules you find them to be common sense.

"So, am I allowed to tell my family or friends about this yet?" You ask as you look to Sandra who is sitting next to you.

"No, not yet. Wait until your relationship goes public." Sandra says with a smile.

"You want my parents to find out about my relationship by watching the evening news?" You ask with an attitude.

"I would prefer that to you telling them, yes..." She whispers.

"Right." You say as you look back to the pile of paperwork.

You sigh loudly and begin to sign everywhere that you need to.

"If I break this contract, what will happen?" You ask quietly.

"Well, if you break one of the rules you will be released of your duties and you will have to pay us back every cent that we give you up until that point..." She says as she looks over your paperwork.

"Has there ever been anyone like me?" You ask as your voice grows even more quiet.

You almost feel cheap. You know that it's not necessarily bad what you're doing, but now these people almost own you. They'll tell you where to be at what time and what to where and who to be and how to act and it's all that you have right now. You don't want Audrey to have to pay for everything so the money from this will help you both greatly.

"No, there hasn't. You're the first..." She whispers as she looks up at you.

You're staring down at the desk. You take a deep breath and look over to her. She gives you a warm smile and scoots her chair next to yours. She takes her reader glasses off and puts her arm around your shoulder.

"Sweetheart, you're not doing anything wrong. You're just going to be his friend, someone that he can talk to. If there is ever something that you feel uncomfortable about, you can just call me and tell me. Okay? You're a nice girl and I really like you. I know if you give Niall the time that he will too..." She says as she gives your shoulder a small pinch.

"Okay." You say as you nod.

"Okay then? It's all good sweetie..." She says as she smiles again and scoots her chair back to complete the paperwork.

You look back down at the desk and think about everything that has happened only today. You've been asked to be the girlfriend of one of the biggest boyband members of the world. You're getting paid for it too. When you go home, you won't be the same Kelly that left this morning. You're not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
