Rylan ponders the question for a while. Like he's trying t ok call the memories back to him from whatever world he was living in for the passed months.

"You." He says.

"What about me?"

"You. You came and talked to me. A few times. You said... you said... you loved me."

"Oh. Um..." I stammer and look around at Laura, Corry, and Nancy.

"We'll give you two some privacy." Laura says mentioning the others out the door.

"You remember that huh?" I ask Rylan.

"I do. I remember your tears. A few fell on my cheek. I felt them."

"You did?"

"Yeah. You kissed me too."

"Um. Yeah I did."

"Sunny, it's okay." He says taking my hand. "There's no reason for this to be awkward. I'm your best friend. You don't have to pretend with me."

"Yeah. I know." I answer, hoping and praying that he won't ask any questions.

"So, all I remember is his name. Tell me about this Eric fella."

"Well," I begin selecting my words very carefully. "His name is Eric Collins. Ok met him the day you went... to sleep. Met him in the woods he gave me a ride home because I was out of gas in the four wheeler. Then we went mudding a few days later. He's one of the most understanding people I've ever met. I've cried on his shoulder a countless number of times. We went to the shooting range for my birthday. He called me Katniss Everdeen when he saw me shoot archery. And I guess he kept me company while you were... sleeping."

"He sounds cool." Is all Rylan says.

"He is. You two would get along great. Do you want to meet him?" I ask timidly.

"Another day Sunshine." He says and brushes the hair out of my eyes. "Right now, I just want to rest. Huh, you would think after sleeping for almost three months I would be far from tired."

"Okay. Go back to sleep." I say says I kiss his forehead. "Just promise me you'll wake up again."

"Of course I will Sunshine." He says. "I would never leave you alone." Just as he finishes his eyes flutter shut into sleep.
