Chapter 3 - Growing Up

right I'm going through the series now before moving on to essence of series 5 I'm not doing a play by episode because its different. I'm starting when she turns 12 anyway onwards

(end of series 1)

after learning from Mordred that I had magic I went back to normal well that was until Arthur got attacked by the questing beast while I was nursing Arthur and I tried to use magic but Merlin caught me. I was terrified but he reassured me that I was fine. later he came into my chambers and revealed that he too was like me. I wasn't a sorcerer but a witch who was born with Magic. that when he took me to see the great dragon.

--flashback--

I gripped my night dress as Merlin lead me to the cavern where the great dragon who was supposed to be dead. he took the torch as we made way down a flight of stairs and finally onto a ledge it was huge I gasped at the sight.

"Hello" Merlin shouted. flapping of wind sent gust of air blowing back my hair I took a couple of steps back the dragon took rest on a bolder in front of us. he saw me and bowed his head.

"your majesty it is good to finally meet you" he spoke. I was confused

"majesty. I'm not Queen only a Princess" I replied Merlin turned me to him. and explained the prophecy of us me being a Queen in the future and uniting Magic with my brother. it was quite overwhelming.

"young witch there a grave times ahead uncertain destines which will involve you. you shall be betrayed, loved, hurt and happy but as long as you have Merlin both of you will achieve your destines" he spoke

 (series 2 beauty and the beast part 2)

I slept in a dreamless sleep when I was interrupted.

"Alexia, Alexia wake up" it was Arthur right now he was annoying me.

"go away Arthur" I mumbled trying to block out his voice.

"Alexia you lazy Princess wake up" he yanked my covers off me and I opened my eyes giving him a glare.

"there had better be a good reason you woke me up Arthur Pendragon" my voice was low. he rolled his eyes and told me to get dressed. I did then entered his room

"so your great plan is to kill us" Arthur stated I stopped

"wait a second you woke me up to kill me...why is this because our step mother is a stinking ugly troll" I made myself know Father remarried Lady Katrina who is actually a troll in discuss it was revolting he was acting like a love sick puppy.

"yes to everything all you have to do is take the potion which will bring you to the brink of death. see harmless" Merlin informed me as I took my brothers side.

"Merlin you me up to kill myself is it" I rolled my eyes

I tuned out the rest of the conversation until I was handed a vial.

'are you sure this will work Merlin' he nodded and with my brother I took the potion. we looked at each other before I felt the effects and I lost balance. it was like I was there but not really there I could hear what was going on but my other sense were redder useless.

I heard the doors opened proberly my father. who sounded in despair.

"oh my children" I could feel him yet do nothing

"my little girl, my boy. it's my fault, I pushed you away" he breathed in despair if there was any doubt he never cared it was all gone. I head the door open again and a gasp I presumed it was Katrina. hearing her grunt come closer.
