*Alexandra"

i was in Gaius' chambers having a check up. Gaius listed to my stomach and took down some notes.

"well"

"growing healthily my lady. they are strong that's for sure" i smiled up ant Mordred when a knock got our attention.

"your majesties and Gaius the King request you in the council chambers" we were informed.

"okay thank you" i stood up and took Mordred's arm and we left. in the council chambers everyone was gathered.

"what's going on" i asked Arthur.

"yesterday while on patrol we found a girl who was injured. she the proceeded to try and kill me. we believe she was a part of a cohort of Saxons' that attacked weapons shipment bound for Camelot" i nodded and sat down. The girl was brought in before us.

" Were you part of a cohort of Saxons who attacked an arms shipment bound for Camelot?" Arthur questioned

" Yes."

"And were you acting under the orders of Morgana Pendragon?"

"What I did, I did for myself, for my people and for our right to be free."

"we  have no quarrel with the Druids in fact Magic had be free for years here in Camelot or have you been somewhere the news hasn't reached" i stated she looked at me

"I have spent my life on the run because of my beliefs and seen those I have loved killed."

"Once, maybe. But I'm not my father. You only have to look around you to know that."

" It is not I, Arthur Pendragon, who needs to answer for my crimes, it is you. You and your father have brutally and mercilessly heaped misery on my kind. It is you who has turned a peaceful people to war...and it is you...and Camelot that shall pay the price.

"in your words i hear Morgana, what do you think" he turned to me and Mordred we nodded our heads. "it is she and other like her you smear the name of magic who do nothing but try to kill us and take the crown one of which does not belong to her."

"i shall not rest till you have paid the price"

"do you have friends here because i think you do. you had to get your treatment from somewhere"

"i treated myself" she lied

"no because we found footprints and broken twigs...which lead us to you" i looked towards Mordant who looked down guiltily

"a stranger came across me and helped me i have no idea wh he was" she lied again

" you show no remorse for your actions therefore i have no choice but to declare you a enemy of Camelot. At dawn tomorrow you shall be hanged...until death"

"you can do as you wish but it will not stop Morgana's uprising" i stood from my seat.

"uprising she has nothing don't you see you fight for a worthless cause. i get that you are angry for our father actions toward us who have magic and that he most likely killed people you love but my brother has been nothing but kind and accepting. your reasons are hollow and stupid. you say Arthur is just like our father if he was i would have died a long time ago. Mordred and Mordant would have been pretending to be something they're not and Merlin would still be a servant not getting recognised." she seemed startled

"so think about that while you are locked away and i mean really think about it every reason you are angry is of the past the dark times where you had to be afraid and hide in fear of dying not now and not anymore." i walked out of the room

------

"Alexandra" i stopped and turned my anger dissolving" he stopped and held my arms.

"there is something you must know. the girl i know her we know her Mordant and I her name is Kara and she is a druid"

"you certain" he nodded and i sighed

"we need to tell Arthur then he has a right to know." we headed back to tell him.
