it was the celebration of mine and Mordred's forthcoming nuptials which was held on the Avalon side of the castle. One of the greatest fests' you ever did see. i laughed at the entertainment as i sipped some wine.
"may i have your attention please" Arthur stood i looked up to him.
"in the darkest of times we can find light and happiness. is that light which brightens the sad loos of one of our own. My dearest sister like me has found someone she wants to spend the rest of her life with. Mordred one of Camelot's finest knight is truly worthy of my sister and Avalon's Queen...to the happy couple" he announced holding his goblet up.
"to the happy couple" we smiled at each other and i thanked him he nodded and i turned to kiss Mordred after everyone went back to their feast.
"so Alexandra." i turned to Gwen.
"when do you hope to have the wedding?" she asked i looked to Mordred who was talking too Gwaine before answering.
"i hope to be soon. i see no reason to wait longer." i smiled
"will he take place as Avalon's King" Arthur asked i nodded
"he shall it will be like with the two of you after we Wed i will crown him King."
"I'm happy for you Alexia, i have not seen you this happy since you was a child" Arthur strokes my face.
"that's because as a child i did not have a weight on my shoulders as i grew i knew what was expected with me. how did you cope with it all those years" i asked
"i just did, i did what i did to protect my people and loved ones to fight and protect them. that all we can ever do." i smiled gently at him.

the next morning i was spending my time sorting and looking over things when Mordred came with a grave look.
"what is it Mordred, what's wrong?" i asked
"Arthur was attacked in the woods he's with Gaius now" i stood from my place and rushed out.
"he was not badly harmed so I'm told" Mordred informed me and i reached Gaius' chambers.
"Arthur, are you alright i came as soon as i was told." i looked him over.
"I'm fine there is no need to worry yourself sister" he sighed "arrest Tyr and bring him to me" he ordered Leon bowed to us before leaving.
"Tyr? really Arthur he wouldn't hurt a soul" i scoffed
"i know that Alexia, what I'm saying is someone must have forced him to do so. threaten his mother or something." i nodded
"glad to see you still have some brain after the incident" he scoffed
"nice to know you were worried" i smiled winking at him i turned and left. We all made our way to the council chambers where Tyr stood before us.
"the thread we found at the boys home matches the one that was used to sabotage your saddle sire" Leon informed my brother
"who put you up to this Tyr?" Arthur questioned
"no one, no one put me up to anything sire" he replied looking down i felt sorry for him i had known him all my life and here he was on trial for treason.
"you say you acted alone, had no help or accomplice" he wondered
"i don't know anything about these things you're talking about . I've done nothing except tend your horses and tat."
"the evidence is staring you in the face, you can't deny it"
"sire i swear on my mother's life" he swore Arthur took a few steps towards him and i held my breath.
"just give me their name, why protect them? they can't help you now just give me their name." i came forward.
"we're you threatened Tyr?" i asked in a soft voice he did not look me in the eye
"i have no name there is no name to give"
"then even though it saddens me to do so i must charge you with treason...is there anything further"
"Arthur are you mad! he hasn't done anything" i protest
"be quiet Alexia"
"you are my King and Queen i would never do anything to hurt you. never" Arthur looked down before walking back to his place.
"Tyr Stewerd by the power vested in me i here by sentence you to death" i gasp and look back to my brother. Percival took him away and i left shoving past my brother.
