Chapter 5 - Ride Out

as you've seen its mostly in Alexia pov anyway I'm  re watching season 5 ep all over again anyway rare occasion there will be a different point of view. this is set is set during the death song of Uther Pendragon. also I read that Mordred is about 18 in season 5 but I put him at 20

*Alexandra *

Arthur and Merlin were out on a hunt. so I decided to go out for a ride. I walked through the halls planning to ask Gwen if she would like to join me when I walked into Mordred and Mordant, the two were talking and turned when they heard me and bowed.

"your majesty" they said in unison.

"hello. I plan to ride out soon would you accompany me." I asked they nodded

"of course my lady we shall have horses ready" Mordant  informed me I smiled at him.

"thank you, but on the safe side prepare 3 more horses I plan to as Guinevere as well as two other knights" they bowed once more before leaving and I continued to my brother and his wife's chambers. I knocked on the door before entering.

"Alexandra what can I do for you" she gave a gentle smile which I returned

"I'm planning on rending out would you like to join me?" she stood from where she was.

"I would love to may I ask is there a destination in mind?" she questioned I nodded

" my mothers burial site. I plan to do a ceremony its bee nineteen years since her death" I looked down she came and hugged me.

"I know what it's like to lose a mother but not when it come to not knowing them." she stated I sighed.

"I never knew her but she is a reason why I'm here today I love her even if I never knew her." I straightened myself out.

"there are horses for you and two knights as well as me, Mordred and Mordant. I will see you outside."  I left and prepared before making my way outside. Mordred, Mordant, Elyan and Gwaine were all waiting. as soon as the saw me they bowed.

"Queen Alexandra" it was weird how they were in unison perfectly. I stood five steps before the bottom to address them.

"knights. today we ride to my mother's burial ground. I ask that you show the upmost respect when I perform a remembrance ceremony. Mordred and Gwaine will ride front with me while Elyan and Mordant will be with Queen Guinevere, that way something happens will be protected" they nodded and I heard Gwen come beside me.

"we ready? how long till we reach your mothers grave?" she asked I nodded.

"we will reach it within a hour" I replied going to my horse. Mordred help me on and sorted out my cape and dress.

"thank you Mordred" I smiled he returned before getting onto his horse. i nudge the sides of Draga and galloped off followed by the others.

*Mordant*

will the two royals rode with us knights i  spoke with Mordred telepathically .

'you seem to be the queen's favourite. brother'  i jested internally laughing. since us two had been in Camelot i noticed looks between the two. years ago when he arrived back after being snuck out from Camelot. he had not stopped on how he met Emrys and Emrysa. even more so how the future Queen was pretty. it seen=med his internal feeling were growing more for the Queen.

'just like your the King's really Mordant' he retorted he close his mind as i listened the conversation between Queen's

"one thing My father did was gave her a burial instead of what he would normally do. i visit this place on the day of her death remember what i lost. " like she said within the hour we arpoched a grave. she was helped of by Gwaine, after taking her cloak she made her way up around there was several torches, she held out her arms and the lit up.
