I knock on her front door. My mother is most likely going to be upset when she can't find me for a few days. I hope I won't regret this.

Louriza opens the door. She smiles when she see's me. " You came. That's a relief. "

She then invited me in. I looked around the dark house. No windows. Everything was colored black. The only color coming from the yellow light in the hall. " Nice house. " I say with sarcasm.

" Yeah isn't it. " She says sarcastically. I chuckle then she covers my mouth. " Shhh... you'll wake up the spirits. "

I nod and shut my mouth. She then walked over to a pile of stuff. She picked up a sword like object. She passed it to me. " What's this for? "

She walks up to me with a bookbag and a vest. She helped put the vest on me. " You'll need the machete to protect yourself. Don't ask where I got it. "

" And the vest? " I ask. She smiled shyly as she looked into my eyes. She's actually so adorable, who would've guessed.

" I thought it would look handsome on you. " She tells me. She gasped and turned quickly when she noticed what she had said.

She put the backpack on her back and then turned off the lights leaving only the little light coming in from the open door.

" Come on Dale. We must hurry. " She says. I nod and follow her outside.

Soon after a while of walking we finally reach the forest. Louriza looks around her surrounding as if she heard something. I then saw her nails do that weird thing, which means she's changing. But it stopped when her eyes changed black. Her smile still the same.

She looked around with her hands out in front of her. She looked as if she was about to attack. I decided to Follow Along Just incase. I pulled out my machete. How do you even use this thing?

Suddenly a girl and a guy walked out the forest with a flashlight. Louriza walked close to them carefully. Her eyes almost changed completely back to normal. She probably doesn't want to scare them.

" Don't hurt us, please. " The girl said.

" We won't hurt you. But only if you help us. " Louriza told them.

" What do you plan on doing? " The guy asked while protecting his partner.

" We're heading to Winnipeg, we're on a mission and it's gonna take more than the two of us. " I say. The guy smiles and discusses with the girl.

" Seems like we're going on an adventure. " He says. Louriza then completely turns back to normal.

We then start walking with them. Louriza was telling them what happened to her and where we're going. They seemed pretty interested. Well, the girl seemed quite terrified.

" What are you're names? " Louriza asks.

The guy looks at the girl before turning back to us. " I'm Mickeey. And that's Erika. She's not to comfortable around new people. Especially people like you, no offence. "

" Non taken. " Louriza tells him while looking at Erika.

Louriza's POV

I walk over to Erika quickly, making her get even more afraid. " Don't be scared. I dont wanna hurt you. "

" How would I know that? You almost attacked us. " She says, holding on tight to the dagger in her hand. I sigh.

" If I were meant to hurt you. I would've done it already. I don't wanna hurt anyone. " I tell her. I see her then relax a bit. I show her the tattoos on the back of my hand. " The more it fades. The less I can control my power. When it fades that means I have upset the spirits and they're trying to take control of me. I don't have a lot of time. That's why we're going to Winnipeg. So we can destroy the bodies and the spirits and set me free from this curse.Then...I can be human again. And be with Dale peacefully. "

" Is he your boyfriend? " Erika asks. I shook my head.

" Just friends as of now. Is that dude your boyfriend? "

" No. He's a close friend of mines. My boyfriend died a while ago. " She tells me. Well now I regret asking. I probably killed him.

She stays quiet as I analyze her from different angles. She looked scared, maybe she was still afraid of me.

" Do I scare you? " I ask.

" A little bit. I've never seen someone like you before. What all happens when you transform? "

" Well, first my nails grow longer into sharp knife like shapes. My skin will start to get pale. My eyes would turn completely black. My mouth would split open across my face. And if I have enough energy then I would get large wings. It's amazing yet scary. " I tell her. She was pretty interested about it now. I think we might get along well.
