MINDY'S POV.
First period is very lonely without Julie. Who am I going to talk to about boys? A sigh escapes my lips. I hate this. It's so quiet. A squeak erupts from the bleacher next to me. There a girl, around my age, sits beside me.
"Admiring the view?" She asks with a smile."Trying too," I reply resting my chin in my hand.
"Having boy problems?" She asks.
I look out into the field and see a new player, number 4. He's really good but not as good as Liam. Then he takes off his helmet and looks at me, and with my luck, it's Tyler.
"You could say that."
Why did Tyler have to come to Beacon Hills? I was happy and starting to actually enjoy going out with my friends again, then he just shows up and ruins it all.
"I'm Hayden," she says extending her hand.
"Mindy," I reply taking it.
The bell rings causing the students to leave. I slap my thighs before I stand up. "Well, it was nice meeting you."
"Same to you. I'll see you around." Hayden says as she walks toward the school.
I walk down the steps when Tyler approaches me. The maroon uniform that he wears looks much better on him than the green football uniform he wore before.
"Since when do you play lacrosse?" I ask him when he stops in front of me.
"Ever since this school didn't provide football," he says in a smart tone.
"I don't even know why I bother talking to you," I reply walking away, but he grabs my wrist, stopping me.
"Wait, wait. I have been having a rough day." He says coausing me to sigh as my arms cross over my chest. "I know that I've been tough lately but I still want to talk to you." I roll my eyes.
"You should have thought about that before you broke up with me." He groans.
"Why do you keep bring that up?" He asks annoyed.
"Why? Because it really hurt me and I don't think I can ever forgive you for that. Now would you please leave me alone." I say walking away but he stops me again. Why won't he just leave me alone? I don't want to be around him especially since he doesn't even care that he hurt me. I try to rip my wrist out of his grasp but it doesn't loosen.
"Let me go, Tyler!" I yell at him.
"Hey, what's going on over here?" Liam asks walking over to us. I don't know if him coming over will help or cause more problems.
"Get lost buddy," Tyler replies pushing Liam's chest. Oh no.
Liam walks closer to him. "I think you should be the one getting lost, buddy," Liam says pushing him back.
Tyler goes to throw a punch at Liam, but he catches his fist. I see his eyes start to glow causing me to pull him away from Tyler. I put my hands on the side if his face, forcing him to look at me.
"Liam, relax. It's ok." I say to him causing his eyes to change back to normal. He takes a deep breath and shuts his eyes.
I turn around and look at Tyler who looks confused. He had to have seen Liam's eyes. He can't find out that the supernatural exists. If he found out then he really would never leave me alone. This is going to be bad.

Liam and I skip last period to grab something to eat and to talk. We take our seat in a booth and tell the waitress what we want to drink. Once she walks away I lean in towards Liam.
