JULIE'S POV

Malia chuckles at Scott as she crouches down to us. "It seems that we are still not on the same level," she says with a sigh. "I'm surprised you're here, I wasn't expecting you."

"Then who were you expecting?" He asks, lifting his head up high.

She gives him a smirk before standing up again. She steps back a few steps before responding. "Why does it matter? It's not like they are of any importance to you. Well... maybe one is."

His breathing stops hitting against my forehead. I look up at him, his eyes are wide and his mouth is in a straight line. "Don't you dare hurt my friends," he says with a growl deep in his throat.

This causes her to smile. She doesn't seem intimated by him which surprises me, since he is a true alpha, so I was told. I'm not really sure what that means but it seems important.

She walks over to men that stand behind her and whispers something in their ears, causing them to move over in our direction. The one rips me out of Scott's grasp and holds my arms behind my back while the other two grip Scott tightly.

"I really don't need you or the people I was looking for anymore, so you are really no use to me," she says looking from me to Scott. "Take them to the cells."

I feel the man push me down the hall, but my body pushes itself backwards, hoping that I won't be chained up like before. I was half unconscious at the time so it wasn't much torture, but to be fully aware of my surroundings, that will be hell.

I try ripping out of the man's grasp but he doesn't budge. I realize that pulling won't work so I try a different tactic. I lift my leg and kick him hard with my heel, causing him to let go. I get flung to the floor and I'm slammed against a glass wall.

I slowly get up when I hear my name being called. I look up to see Theo chained against a wall. Chains are wrapped around his wrists and ankles holding him back. He leans forward, making the chains extend as far as they can. Smoke escapes from underneath them but it doesn't seem to bother him, he just continues to stare at me.

I see Malia walk over to me, her eyes are strong and full of curiosity as she looks from me to Theo. "Is she?" Malia asks Theo while pointing a finger at me. A smile grows across her face. "Oh, Theo, what a smart man you are."

I look at Scott who is already looking at me. He shrugs his shoulders, telling me he is unsure of what is going on as well. His eyebrows move inward as if trying to read my mind, but before he can I feel a hand wrap itself around my forearm, pulling me off of the ground.

I see that it is Malia. She pulls me into the room were Theo is and we walk right past him. She takes me over to a line of ash that goes from one side of the room to the other, cutting the room in half. Confused by her actions I open my mouth to ask her a question, but before I can speak she pushes me toward the ashes.

I land onto the tiled floor and hit the wall on the other side of the line. I hear Theo shout my name as I try to pick myself off of the floor, but I don't look up at him.

I turn and see Malia chuckling as her eyes make their way from me to Theo. "You tricked me," she says to him as she walks over to me. "You left hints, how?"

Theo looks at me and I see his eyes become glossy. I don't move, for I am just as curious as I am terrified. Malia grabs his face and turns it to face hers. "How did you do it?" She yells.

Theo moves back causing her hand to fall from his face. "I knew you would be following me, so every where I went with Julie I disguised her scent, changed her footprints, I made sure you would never find her," he says looking at me before bowing his head down. "But I guess it was for nothing."

Malia stands right in front of the line of ash, which for some reason she doesn't cross over. "You are the last Chimera." She says to me as a smirk forms across her face.

My head tilts to the side. What is she talking about? What is a chimera? I look at Theo who is still looking at the ground. Malia turns her head in the direction of my vision. "He didn't tell you, did he?" She asks me and walks over to him. "You're little boyfriend here has been keeping things from you." She shakes her head as tsk tsk tsk escapes her lips.

I stand up and walk towards the ash, stopping in front of it. "What's going on? Am I a Chimera?" I ask looking at Malia's blue eyes.

"Yes, werewolves can't pass through mountain ash, but chimeras can. It has no affect on you, or Theo." She says smiling at him causing his eyes to close. She grabs his arm and snaps it causing him to scream. She turns his head towards me and his eyes are yellow just like mine, not red. "He never turned you, but I wonder how he did it. Would you care to share?"

He takes deep breaths from the pain of his now broken arm. "When you were in the woods, a wolf did scratch you, but it wasn't me. It was just an animal and I killed it." He says swallowing hard.

I shake my head. "No, I saw you shift."  I say in denial.

"That was me, but I killed the wolf right after it had attacked you. The scratches were so deep that I didn't have time to take you to a hospital, you were bleeding too fast, so I took you to the lab and injected you with different serums which caused you to shift. I took you back before you awoke, you couldn't know." He replies shutting his eyes. "I'm sorry."

I take quick deep breaths trying to take it all in. First he got himself trapped in a basement which lead to Stiles and I being trapped as well. Second I loose my hearing for almost a month. Third Mindy and Liam get kidnapped, by who I assume was Malia. And now here I am trapped once again. He put Mindy and I through hell all because of some secret?

"You were lying to me this entire time?" I ask Theo, feeling tears form in my eyes. "You never told me anything, you always appeared every where I went, did you even want to kiss me, or was that a lie as well." I bite my lip, holding back my tears.

Theo leans forward, the smell of burning flesh fills the air. "No, Julie, I wouldn't do that to you," he says, pain clear in his voice.

I run my hands through my hair when a man walks into the room and blows on the ash breaking the line. Malia walks over to me and places a hand on my shoulder. "I know this is a lot for you to take in, Julie. It probably feels like the entire world is crumbling around you, trust me, I've been there. Come with me, I can help you."

I look at the glass wall to see that Scott is gone. It's just me, Malia, Theo, and the man dressed all in black. "Where's Scott?" I ask looking in the hall.

"He'll be fine. I won't let anything happen to him." Malia says as we walk towards the door. "Come on, it looks like you need some rest."

We start walking through the door way when I hear Theo yell something, but his voice came to an end once the man shut the door.

"Don't worry, Julie. Everything is going to be fine." Malia says. "Just fine."
