Soon after the news had been broken that the eight of us were joining Little Mix on their UK tour, our followers rose day by day and it finally felt like we were finally going somewhere. It was still daunting to know only one of the bands would get the record deal, and the girls were desperate to get it. I knew there would be other chances, so I didn't want to become too competitive against the boys.

"Charl?" Leigh said, calling for her from her room. Whilst recording the album, we were all living together and as we were packing a suitcase each to take on the tour with us.

"Yeah?" she replied, her suitcase thumping down each stair.

"Sam just text me. Adam Kellen apparently said that since us and The Vamps are up for this record deal, whoever performs best throughout the tour will get the deal. At certain shows, there will be 'scouts' on the look for who performs the best. This means are vocals need to be tight as ever, harmonies too. We can not mess this up. We need to perform to the best of our abilities at every show." Leigh said and Charl and Parisa nodded. "Have you got that Jenny?" she said, as I didn't stir but daydreamed about the tour. My dream. On tour with some of my idols and four people I had met a week ago.

And yet one I already felt particularly close too. He was like a best friend I'd never had. Since we left the studio where we'd first met, a week ago, we had tweeted and text non-stop. It was like we'd been friends for years. It was Brad.

"Jenny?" Charl said, tapping my shoulder, knocking me from my daydream.

"Wha- wha- what? Erm, yes, of course. We'll practice tonight," I said, before talking a quick walk from out Kensington apartment, that management had rented out for us.

As I made it to the centre of Kensington, there was an array of people rushing past each other, nearly knocking me from my own thoughts. Then, as I looked down at my iPhone in my right hand, noticing one new text, my phone was knocked from my hand.

"I'm so sorry! Let me get that for you," a voice said.

"Thank you!" I said, as the breeze blew through his luscious curls, straightening them into waves that whipped about behind him.

As my phone was then handed to me, my hair cascaded down the side of my face and I smiled, stretching my arms out for  a hug.

"Jenny!" Brad said.

"What are you doing here?" I replied, pulling out from the hug, my huge winter coat drowning me.

"I was shopping for my sister's birthday."

"Ah, I've heard all about her."

"Ah, just the once or twice," he winked, laughing.

"Well wish her a happy birthday from me, and I guess I'll see you next on the first date of the tour!" I said, ready to leave the town centre, checking my phone was OK. I was already half an hour later than I said I was going out for.

"See you then," he said, moving the bags in his hand away from me to kiss my cheek. His lips were like petals brushing past in the autumn wind, pink and delicate.

Then, I made my decent back home.

As I fumbled for my key in my New Look coat, I rushed to find the lock, to insert the key and go inside due to the freezing weather I was currently stood in.

"Jenny, you're late!" Leigh said, running down the stairs, her suitcase packed and waiting at the door.

"Sorry, I saw Brad and we got chattin-" I said before Leigh butted in.

"Yes, that's great, wow, now go and pack," she said, leaving me stood taken aback.

At that moment, I was ready to hang my coat up before my phone rang.

I clicked the green button, noticing it was Brad. I smiled.

"Hey, it's Brad," he said rather shyly.

"I know, I saw your name flash on my phone screen." I giggled, his voice making my smile.

"Oh God, of course," he laughed, nervously.

"So, are you OK?"

"Erm, sure, I just missed the sound of your voice since you're one of my best friends," he said before the line went silent.

"Aw, Brad, you're so cute." I said, in response.

"You too."

"So, I need to go and pack, can you call me back later?" I said, taking off my converse and leaning against the living room door, smiling from ear to ear. There was something about Brad that always made me smile. I had always wanted a boy best friend, and on that day we first met, a few months back, it was like everything had slotted into place.

"Erm, oh, sure," he said, hanging up, leaving me with nothing but happiness.

I rushed upstairs to pack my suitcase, knowing we had had rehearsal in ten minutes and I hadn't even attempted to pack.

Around half an hour later, I was finally done with my packing and I rushed downstairs to see the girls had already started on the harmonies. They were singing Don't You Worry Child, a cover we were going to sing acappella on tour.

As I warmed my vocal ups, knowing we only had a few more days until the first show, I fantasised about living my dream, just like Little Mix were.

Later that night, Parisa tweet a picture of us all in the house singing, whilst Leigh posted some Instagram videos of us messing around. We currently had thirty thousand followers on twitter on the band account, and each of us nearly had fifteen thousand. We had such a dedicated fan base, which was so nice to see.

Then, as I went to turn my lamp off, beside my bed, my phone buzzed. Tristan from The Vamps had tweeted a picture of us from when we first met, with the caption: 'Met this amazing girl @JennyWavelength a few weeks ago, follow her! Xxx'

I smiled and re-tweeted the picture. I looked awful as usual, but Tristan's smile made the photo. He was so cute.

Days past and we rehearsed for the tour. We planned out our set list, and things were really starting to heat up for us. 'This was it,' I thought.

Then, on the morning of the first date, a large van arrived at our house. The driver, Alan, came to pick up our bags and took them to the hotel in Birmingham for the first date.

It wasn't long before a car collected us and took us to the hotel, a few miles from the venue. Once we arrived, we walked into the front of the hotel, the waiting area, whilst our manager checked us in.

"Hey guys!" A familiar voice said, making us all turn around from the desk, nearly knocking our suitcases over.

"Boys, we've missed you!" Parisa said, running up to hug Con, Tristan, James and Brad. Charlotte and Leigh did the same as I stood smiling at them, Brad in particular.

He ran up to me, before picking me up and spinning me around. I giggled as everyone started to look at us.

"I've missed you," he said.

"I've missed you too," I whispered in his ear, his warm breath tickling my shoulder and he hugged me. Then, as I pulled out from the hug, Tristan walked over to us, glaring at Brad.
