I must have nodded off without replying to Brad's text from earlier that day. I looked at my phone. It was half eight. I looked to my left to see Charlotte was dressed up ready for a posh meal. She was checking out how she looked in the mirror, not noticing I was now awake. She was singing softly to herself, sweeping her hair past her shoulders every so often. Her dress was perfect, it sat on her body as if it had been made for her. The satin folds hugged her figure following her curves and the deep blue was gorgeous against her ivory skin. The halter neck was embroidered with miniature dark flowers and finished, as along all the visible seams, with jet black lace to match her stilettos, and it's light skirt flowed out above her knees showing of her toned legs. Her blonde hair hung perfectly, its choppy layers framed her face an she finished it in style with a deep blue satin bow the same shade as her eye shadow, and same style as her ribbon necklace which held a beautiful black glass flower. She looked stunning, to say the least.

She caught me staring through the mirror, and jumped.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you," I said.

"Its fine. Look, hey, erm I'm going out tonight. Please don't tell Sam, I want him to think we're rehearsing," she replied,  adding a touch of lip gloss.

"Alone?" I asked in confusion.

"Something like that," she muttered and I got out of my bed, picking up my phone.

"Connor?" I then asked. She blushed and I smiled. "Have fun," I said and she picked up her purse, ready to go, as he knocked on our hotel room door.

I checked the room and noticed the other girls were gone. I hated being alone so I decided to go and see if Brad and Tris had made up yet. I walked in to their room to find Brad and James.

"No Tris?" I asked. They shook their head, to say 'no'.

It was winter now and even in my blazer, long sleeved top, skirt and tights, I was still extremely cold. The boys noticed I was shivering and invited me to sit with them. It wasn't long until James decided to go to the gym and left me and Brad alone.

We sat in an awkward silence for at least three minutes.

"Do you want to stay in or?" he asked. "Its fine by me, I mean we can go out or stay in and watch a film, or I don't know rehearse? I'm fine with any."

I laughed at his cuteness. "Can we go for a walk?" I asked, hesitantly. Being alone on nights like this with Brad really made me realise how much I loved him.

I grabbed my coat and boots and me and Brad headed out of the hotel. It was late out and thankfully, there weren't any fans.

He took my hand to keep them warm, since we had both left our gloves at home. Now, with darkness came the frost, a black nightmare that we dreaded whilst touring.

"What happened earlier?" I asked.

"Things."

"Like?"

"Look, me and Tris fall out over stupid things sometimes. Its life. You can't have a healthy relationship without arguing. That's how our friendship works."

"Why did you need to text me then?" I said, praying he'd say something about loving me back. However, I knew that wouldn't happen.

"Because we ruined your day by you leaving us."

I smiled, grabbing his hand tighter.

We continued walking for several minutes until we took our phones out.

"Save my address to your phone so we can hang out more!" he said, typing his address into my phone. "You'll find me there... A lot."

About twenty minutes later we made it to a bar.

"Shall we?" Brad asked. I followed him inside and we took a seat at a table for two. "Jenny. I need to ask because this has been bugging me for weeks." I looked up from my glass of white wine that Brad had bought. "What- what are we? Like you and me. Are we friends or... More than that?"

"I'm not sure."

"Don't lie to me. I can see it in your eyes," he said, cupping my face with his warm hands.

"I'm not sure, honest. I think I like you, but-"

"Is there someone else?" he shot back at me, pulling away from me.

"No? I said, I like you."

"And I like you too. So what's the problem?" he said, smiling, leaving me confused to as if he was angry or not.

"Maybe we should take a few days to think about what we both want, and then see how we feel. Right now, I-I-I-" I stopped. I couldn't say it. I couldn't tell Brad that, after all this time, I had been in love with him. I stopped what I was saying. "I love you?" I said.

He put his drink down and our eyes met. He got up, taking my hand and pulled me from my seat. He took my outside and walked me back owards the hotel.

"Where are we going?" I said, laughing. He winked and in that moment, I couldn't help but notice his beauty in the moonlight. His eyes twinkled and his smile was brighter than that of the sun in the day.

We made it to his hotel room. No one was back.

"Brad!" I giggled, "what are you doing?" I said, remembering only moments ago I had told him I loved him.  He raised one finger up to my lips, in a "don't speak" action.

Slowly, he shut the door and began to inch closer and closer to me. I slowly backed away until I was against the wall. He face towered over mine, our foreheads almost touching. His deep hazel eyes stayed locked on mine. I could hear him breathing deeply as his hot breath hit my face. We stood like that for what seemed like ages. Then, out of the blue, he grabbed my hips, pulled my body towards him and smashed his lips into mine. It was magical. Sparks flew as I ran my finger through his hair and he cradled my face. Our lips moved in sync, but got progressively more aggressive. He lifted me into his arms and took me to the sofa, lying on top of me.

"I think I love you too," he managed to say.
