As me and the girls watched as our bags were taken up to our room, the nerves kicked in, knowing tonight we would we touring with Little Mix. As we went up the lift to our room with James and Connor, Tristan stayed in the lobby with Brad.
"Hey man, what's up?" Brad said, punching Tris lightly, trying to cheer him up.
"Nothing," he replied, with a sharp tone to his reply.
"Well before when I hugged Jenny, you, I don't know, gave me a look. What was that to mean?" he said in complete confusion.
"Don't act stupid."
"I'm not?" he replied, still not catching on to Tristan's anger. Tristan pressed the button calling one of the lifts as Brad stood in front of Tris, since he couldn't look him in the eye.
"Look, I like Jenny."
"Already?" Brad said, his voice high pitched and sarcastic.
"Yes! Don't act like you don't know."
"Wow, erm, OK."
"Don't tell her please."
"I won't, I promise," Brad said in reply, trying to make Tristan smile. "How long have you liked her?"
"Since the day we met. It was like love at first sight. She's my dream girl," he said, looking out across Birmingham through the window in the lift. Brad looked into the mirror also inside the lift and sighed quietly to himself.
"I'm sorry if I angered you," Brad managed to say, as they got out of the lift.
"Just forget it. I know you're good friend, I probably took the hug the wrong way." Tristan walked off to his room as Brad knocked onto my room door.
"Jenny?" Brad said, tapping on the door.
I ran to the door of Leigh and I's room, and opened it to see Brad standing ont he other side, slightly upset and confused. I stretched my arms out for him before he hugged me.
"Are you OK?"
"Look, I just want to say, you'll kill it tonight, good luck!" he said as I was about to get changed from my travelling clothes into something to go to the arena in. Although, somehow, I knew that wasn't why Brad was here.
"Thanks, you too!" I said, before turning away from Brad to take my top off, since Leigh had taken up the bathroom. "Sorry about this, please don't look!" I said, as he was stood in the doorway of our room.
"Promise," he said and I held him to it, although I could sense he was watching anyway.
Then, as we both stood looking at each other in silence, he pushed the door handle down and walked out.
At that moment, Leigh walked out of the bathroom, ready to go to the venue.
"What was all that about?" she said.
"I really don't know," I said, frowning, whilst picking up the top I had changed out of.
Around twenty minutes later, Sam knocked on our door, with Charl and Parisa already in the van. As me and Leigh walked out, the boys were walking out of their rooms, further down the corridor. They all smiled at us, knowing what tonight would mean.
The nerves started to kick in on our descent to the arena. This was our first large scale show, as a group.
Half an hour later the girls and I were in hair and make-up, before heading off for a quick sound check and dance rehearsal. As we 'strutted our stuff' in the words of Connor, we made sure our vocals were on point.
The Vamps were on first, singing four songs, before me and the girls. We then watched them sound check, as I stood watching them in awe. Brad was stood in the middle and as he opened his mouth to sing their debut single, 'Can We Dance', my jaw dropped as the lyrics escaped his lips.
Once our sound check was over and Little Mix had done theirs, the crowds started to full the arena. Jade and Perrie walked in to say 'hello' and congradulate us for being on tour with them. We took some selfies before Jesy and Leigh came in to invite us to hang out with them at some point during the tour.
'@LittleMixOffic: First date of our 'Move' tour! Chillin' with @WavelengthMusic and @TheVampsBand' they tweeted, sending our mentions into complete and utter madness.
Before The Vamps hit the stage, Brad knocked on our dressing room to wish me and the girls good luck. I was the only one in the dressing room at the time, trying to put on my high heels. Our outfit for our set was black high heels, pink short shorts and a black crop top. I wasn't going to lie, it wasn't comfy at all.
"Jenny, can I come in?" Brad cried out.
"Sure," I said, walking over to the door.
I watched Brad walk in with a sense of trepidation, not knowing what would happen after tonight. I wasn't quite sure how to act around Brad, especially since it seemed like he was hiding something.
He sat down on the sofa in our dressing room, as I made sure I had enough lipstick on.
"Are you all right?" he asked.
"Yeah, I'm excited, you?"
"Yes, can't wait. I really hope we both get the deal, Jenny, I don't want things to go bad between us," he replied, before getting up and walking over to me, as I placed the lipstick down on the dressing table.
"I know how you feel," I said, shaking a little as I felt his cool breath tickle my cheek. My knees went weak and I panicked, not knowing what was happening to me.
"Good luck for tonight," he said, placing his hands around my waist from behind. I looked up to myself in the reflection of the mirror and to see Brad smiling. I wasn't sure if he could sense I was nervous, but as I went to reply, he pulled away from me.
"You too," I said, as he smiled, and walked out of the room, without saying another word.
