His friends tell him to find
A hot girl for the night.
It's cool is what they say,
We have only one life to live.Their suggestion is his deed,
But all he finds it is boring.
He doesn't give up though in
Vain hopes to hide his real identity.Girls is not what he's interested in
He finally says it out loud.
Sticks are what he loves and
He'll do what he wants. (Pun intended )They tell him it's not time for jokes,
Belief is not what they put in,
He tries to convince them but all
They say is that he can't be gay. When he asks them why,
The manner is shallow of their reply.
He doesn't paint his nails,
He doesn't love pink. He's part of the football team,
Masculinity is what he belongs to.
Men who like manly things
Are not gay is what they think. He is shocked by this statement,
Can't believe he was once like them.
He realises there's no point in talking
And slowly walks away.-A boy who fights the torments of a society who believes that men who love feminine items are gay. The logic amuses him to no end.
