Stood Up

Taylin Jaye pov

Ugh. He did it again. He stood me up. I sighed and stood up from the table and placed down the money i owed for my drinks and left. Once i got outside i pulled out my phone and called the only person that would listen to me bitch about him.

"Taylin Jaye why the heck are you calling me during your date" Josh chuckled

"He stood me up... Again" i sighed. I heard Josh sigh on the other line

"When are you going to give this up Tay, he does this every time yet you stay with him" Josh said sounding sad

"I know he always does this and i stay with him be cause he makes me feel important and not just another random like other guys do" i admitted as i started walking back to my apartment

"Your not a random though, your much more than another random" he spoke softly

"Much more my ass. I am a random, all they want is a simple date, fuck, ditch." I sighed

"Okay maybe some guys think of you as a random, the only reason you don't think Pete does is because he's never been on a date with you, argo he can't fuck then ditch" he said

"Your right" i mumbled into the phone as i walked into the building.

"You home?" Josh asked

"Yup" i sighed sadly

"See you in a few then" he said and hung up.

He's right about Pete. Ive been 'dating' Pete for the past month we hang out but whenever it comes to going on dates, he never shows. Ive gotta give him up. Who knows what he's been doing, he could be sleeping around for all I know.

I sighed as i walked into my apartment, it was unlocked so Josh must already be here. Josh lives one floor up. "Taylin?" I heard him call "Joshua" i sighed. His head peeked out of the kitchen and then he came and engulfed me in a hug. "Im sorry about Pete" he mumbled "its fine. Im going to break up with him" i shrugged. Josh gave a small smile then took my hand and walked me to the kitchen "i made hot chocolate" he smiled and passed me a mug "thanks" i smiled and took it. I took a sip and looked at Josh "how big of an ass would i be if i just texted him saying we're over?" I asked "not an ass at all after what he has done" Josh said "okay" i placed my mug down and pulled out my phone. "Can you do it?" I asked and held my phone out to Josh. He gave a slight nod. "Pete, I'm sorry this has to be said over text, i just cant see us being together anymore. Its over -Taylin Jaye." Josh spoke as he typed "thanks" i gave a sad smile "he didn't deserve you Tay" Josh said "is it just me or do you always say that when i break up with someone" i gave a small chuckle "its true" he said "if its true in your words no one deserves me" i sighed "now i didn't say that, someone does deserve you" he took a step closer to me "and who is that someone cause I'm having a hard time finding him" i looked at him "its me" he stated "whats you?" I asked confused just before he smashed his lips into mine
