To keep your PC in good shape, you don't have to do much (usually). Charlie (my computer, I named him) is an older Dell desktop, but he still is the fastest computer in our house. Now, this may also be because he's happy (I bought a huge monitor, new speakers, and a mouse for him), but I also take care of him. Here's how you can take care of yours:
First, make sure you have McAfee (I think that's how it's spelled) or Norton installed. PCs usually come equipped with one of these programs. Open the program and look around. You should find a 'file clean-up' or 'disk optimization' option. Select one of those (I'm unsure about McAfee, I use Norton. If neither of these options appear, check YouTube for a how-to video).Note: Disk Optimizations take longer than File Clean-Ups.
A way to tell if your computer needs some TLC is if it lags while playing The Sims (or any other PC game). If it doesn't, it probably doesn't need a clean-up or optimization.
Also, if you download cc and you don't like/want it or it's broken, delete it. Unused cc just takes up space you could be using for something else.Hope this helped!
