The uninstalling of a game is a sad time. Believe me, I know. But sometimes your computer needs it! And the computer is the key to gaming. Literally. So you had better take care of it!
Symptoms of the need of uninstalling are:
-Computer freezes up a lot
-Slow, Laggy
-Abnormal actions (sounds, flashing, etc)
-Freezes up in the same game (Say you have Sims 2 and 3 installed. If you're playing Sims 2 and it freezes but is fine with Sims 3, you know there's a problem.)
Now, if you do have any of these symptoms (with the exception of the last one), your machine baby may just need a clean up. But, just for the sake of this chapter, let's get to the uninstalling!
So, how do you know what game to uninstall?
It's simple! The game you use the least. For me, that was The Sims 3. I wanted to use The Sims 2, but ended up uninstalling that one, too.
But how do I uninstall a game?
That's pretty easy, too. You go the control panel and search for/select Uninstall Program. From there, you'll see a list of programs which you'll have to sift through until you find the game you have decided will go.
Now, I use an old Dell desktop computer named Charlie, and he has Windows 7, so if I'm incorrect on where to go in terms of uninstalling, sorry about that 😂.Don't forget to say a little prayer when you uninstall (I did, it made me feel better)!
Good luck, simmers! :)Disclaimer:
You don't always have to uninstall a game. This chapter is purely for those of you who are having problems and need help troubleshooting. This is based on my experience of gaming/troubleshooting.
