Ellie's POV
WE are all on the plane right now on our way to my Dad's wedding! I am so excited because I get to be in Miami for four days and I get to see all my family. This is the first time Abby and I will be meeting the family so it should be intresting. All we know is my dad has two sisters and a brother. I am so happy Sarah and Jackie could come with me to this wedding. We landed and now we are on our way to the hotel. We would stay at my Dad's but that would be too awkward for everyone. I am a little sad today because today would have been Austin and I's year and a half anniversary. So in honor of that I am singing a cover of the song Love Will Remember by Selena Gomez and posting it on Youtube. This song really helped me during the breakup and I think it is a really good song.
I sang the song last night so I just have to upload the video today. I opened up my twitter and tweeted some of the lyrics We used to be inseperable, I used to think that I was irreplacable.
Right away I already got over 1000 favorites and retweets and everybody kept asking me if it was about Austin. I logged off of twitter and walked out to the balcony where Jackie and Sarah were sitting. Sarah moved over so I could sit next to her.
"I miss this, us being together and just hanging out." Jackie said softly
"Me too. It's not the same not having you guys around. It is going to be crazy next year when I am at college too." I replied
"Why can't you just come to the same college as us? It would make things a lot easier." Sarah said sighing
"I don't know I just love it here and I don't want to spend my whole life in Texas, you know?" I asked them
"Yeah I get it I mean after college I plan on moving to New York to do something with dance." Sarah said
"Yeah and I plan on either moving to California or somewhere in Europe for fashion." Jackie said
"You guys are still able to make it to my graduation right?" I asked them
"Yeah of course we wouldn't miss it for the world." Jackie said smiling
"I can't believe our wittle Ellie Belly is all grown up now." Sarah said pinching my cheeks
"Yeah I know and she is a brunette now who knew? I like you with brown hair." she said coming over and playing with it
"Yeah me too I think it makes you look older." Sarah said now playing with it too
"I miss my blonde hair sometimes though. But I have to keep the brown color for a while because my mom paid a lot for me to have it done." I explained to them
"Yeah so the wedding should be fun tomorrow." Jackie said changing the subject
"Yeah it should I'm excited to meet all of my family." I replied smiling
"Maybe you will have a hot cousin for Jackie." Sarah said laughing
"Haha yeah because I can really balance a guy in my life right now between school and my job." Jackie said sarcastically
"Well fine but you can still at least flirt with him." Sarah said
"How are you and Alex by the way?" I asked her smirking
"We are great he is so sweet and he treats me right. Plus this long distance hasn't really put a toll on our relationship." she explained
We just talked out on the balcony like that until we went out to dinner. We went to bed early because we have to rest up for the wedding.
Today is the day of the wedding and everybody looks great. The ceremony went perfectly and it was so cute. We just finished pictures on the beach and we are now heading to the country club for the reception. The bridesmaid dresses are long and light pink with a sweetheart neckline. My hair is in a fancy low bun with a braid going into it and my makeup is professionaly done.
"Hey are you Ellie?" A woman who looked like my father asked me
"Yeah I am." I replied smiling
"Hi my name is Erin, well actually I am your Aunt Erin I'm your dad's sister." she said smiling
"Oh my gosh hi it's so nice to finally meet you." I replied giving her a hug
"You too. So how old are you now?" she asked
"I am eighteen now." I said
"Wow the last time I saw you was when you were a baby. I'm younger then your dad so I am thirty four. Would you like to come and meet the rest of the family?" she asked smiling
"Of course." I replied following after her
She led me over to this big table full of people and they all stopped talking when they saw me.
"Ellie this is my husband Brent and this is your Aunt Lucy and her husband Ian, and this your your Uncle Chris and his wife Jordan. These are all your aunts and uncles." she said smiling widely
"It's nice to meet you all." I said smiling
"Oh you look so much like your dad, come here give me a hug." my Aunt Lucy said. They all gave me hugs and it felt good to finally meet the other side of my family
"And I am your grandmother Mary but you can call me Mammow. You are so beautiful I could just eat you up." she said giving me a big hug
"Thank you." I said laughing
"And I am your grandfather Noah but you can just call me Pops." he said giving me a hug also
"It feels good to finally meet all of you guys." I said smiling. We all took pictures together and I caught up with all of them. The wedding was really fun. All we did the whole night was eat, take pictures, and just dance. It was like a girls night out and it was perfect. My whole side of my dad's family promised to meet up and have a party soon. I checked twitter when we were heading back to our hotel and everybody kept tweeting me to look at Austin's last tweet. So I clicked on his name and that's when I saw he tweeted:
