Ellie's POV
Today I am spending the day over at Adam's house. Adam lives in a mansion, his family is very rich. His Dad owns all the McDonalds in Texas and his mom is a children's hospital representative. His mom and dad scare me a lot because they are very strict and conservative. I dress really nicely whenever I go over to their house. Today we are all going out on the lake for lunch, on their boat. I am wearing a short sleeve, cream blouse with a old fashioned long white skirt that has red flowers on it, and navy blue strappy flats. My blouse is tucked into my skirt. My hair is pulled into a low pony tail and I am wearing foundation, mascara, and light pink lip gloss. Adam is wearing cream shorts, a white t shirt, and he is barefoot.
"Hey Ells." He greeted me pecking my lips and taking my brown satchel from me
"Hey how are you?" I ask him hopping up onto the boat
"I am very well, how about you?" He asked me smiling
"I am great. Are we going to Vince's party tomorrow night?" I asked him
"Yeah we are, what time does it start again?" He asked leading me over to his family
"He said we can get there any time after eight." I replied
"Alright cool I will pick you up by seven fourty five then, does that sound good?" He asked kissing my nose
"That sounds perfect." I replied pecking his lips
"Ellie sweetie how are you?" Adam's mom Karen asked me
"I'm good Karen how are you?" I asked giving her a hug
"I am very well. Lunch is all set up if you guys will come and sit down." She said motioning for us to follow her. We followed her to the back of the boat where all of Adam's family was sitting. I sat in between Adam and his little sister Mikayla. Adam is the oldest of four.
Lunch was going by really slow because we had to listen to Karen go on about the opera. Can these people get any more boring? I thought to myself
"So Ellie did Adam tell you he got into Princeton? They want him for both his brains and his soccer skills." Adam's dad Tom told me
"No he didn't tell me that, congratulations that is great." I said looking over at Adam
"Well I was going to tell you after lunch." Adam said looking down. I grabbed his hand in mine to let him know that it is ok.
"Do you know where you are going yet?" Tom asked me
"We'll I am torn between The University of Alabama and The University of Miami." I replied
"Well they are both excellent schools but Miami is known for their partying. What are you going to be majoring in?" Karen asked me
"Either education or something in music." I replied taking a sip of my water
"Oh sweetie you aren't going to be making a lot of money in either of those majors." Karen said
"Mom!" Adam exclaimed giving her a look
"No it is ok. Everybody has their opinions and mine is as long as I am enjoying myself in what I do it is not about how much money I make. Thank you for lunch but I should be going now." I said getting my purse and walking off the boat. I was walking down the sidewalk when I felt somebody pull me back.
"I am so sorry about my mom." Adam said bringing me in for a hug
"It's fine it's just every time the subject of school comes up I feel like your mom is always bringing me down." I said sighing
"She doesn't mean to do it that is just her personality." He said pushing a strand of hair behind my ears
"I know I know, I'm sorry." I said sighing
"How about some ice cream? We can go to Millie's?" He asked me smirking
"That sounds great." I replied
We started walking and he wrapped his arm around my waist and I put my hand on top of his. I am still trying to feel that connection with Adam but I am just not feeling anything.
Austin's POV
I am currently on my world tour now and right now we are in Vegas. I am loving life on the road and I have met a lot of cool people. I will be returning to Texas soon because my tour is almost over. I am still dating Stephanie and she is as awful as always. My manager thinks she is good for me but she is nothing but clingy and uptight. Kendall Jenner and I have become close over the last couple months but to be honest nothing compares to Ellie. I haven't talked to her in a year but a day doesn't go by where I don't think of her. I herd she has a new boyfriend now she is dating some rich kid named Adam. The paparazzi still follow her around and I saw a picture of her today and she looks uncomfortable with the guys. Plus she is dressing so old fashioned and her hair is brown now. She is pretending to be someone she is not. I miss her a lot whenever I was having a bad day she was always there to make me happy. Robert called me yesterday and told me that she blew them off yesterday when they saw her.
"Hey what are you thinking about?" Dave asked me walking into my dressing room
"Just life and how this tour went by so fast." I replied
"Yeah it did go by pretty fast, were you also thinking about Ellie?" he asked smiling weakly
"Yeah I mean I think about her everyday, I am still in love with her. And I will always love her. It just sucks because she hates me so much now and I don't know how to fix it." I told him running my fingers through his hair
"Well you are going back to Texas in what two weeks? Just win her back when we get there."
"Dave it is not that easy, she won't even look at me let alone talk to me." I replied frustrated
"Well just put on the Austin Mahone charm and she will be like putty in your hands I guarantee it." Dave said smirking
"Dave you are such a girl but you do give great advice sometimes." I told him giving him a fist bump
"Thank you and I am not a girl I am a full grown man."
"Whatever gets you through the day Dave." I replied smiling
