(Your POV)

After that eventful day, Jordan ended up going home. My mom didn't expect anything. Now it was Monday. Time to go back to Hell. Although, I don't think that this school was really Hell. It was just my old schools. That was pure endless Hell. I'm just glad I don't have to deal with that anymore. I was walking to school but realized I hadn't seen Jordan all morning. Where was he? Maybe he was avoiding me... I didn't get a text from him at all either. I decided not to look to much into it. Soon I arrive to the school. I walked up the steps and quickly went to my locker to get my books. The bell would ring at any minute. As I walked down the halls, I kept a lookout for Jordan. I got my books and slammed the locker closed. As I turned around, I was faced with Alex. I jumped a little.

Alex: I'm sorry! Did I scare you?

You: Uh, yeah. But it's fine. Have you seen Jordan at all?

A: Nope. I thought he'd be with you.

Y: Oh... Ok..

A: Don't look so down. I'm sure he's just sleeping in again. He'll be here.

I nodded in response, then we walked to class. The bell rang and I found my way to my seat in the back of the class. Mr. Quinn greeted the class, as always, and started his lesson. I zoned out quickly. I ended up daydreaming until he called on me. Of course, it took a book slamming on my desk for me to notice.

*BANG*

I jumped and looked up at my angry looking teacher.

Mr. Quinn: How many times do I have to get your attention like this?

I looked down in embarrassment. I didn't mean to zone out, I really didn't. The lessons just weren't interesting.

Mr. Quinn: *sigh* See me after school.

I nodded and he left my desk to continue whatever he had been teaching. I laid my head down on my desk, disappointed in myself. What a great way to start a morning. In case you couldn't tell, that was sarcasm. Class soon ended though. I raced outta there so fast that Alex didn't have time to catch up with me. I went into the bathrooms, thankful it was empty, and just took a deep breath. Without Jordan here, I went into an over thinking mode. I was starting to panic. I didn't even know why. But anxiety just does that to you. I took deep breaths and tried to calm down. I needed to get to my next class. I splashed some water on my face, being careful of my eye makeup, and then dried my face. The water was refreshing. After a few more breaths, I left and headed to my next class. When I got there, Mr. Fuentes stopped me at the door.

Mr. Fuentes: Why are you late?

You: I-I... umm... I was-

I was cut off when someone burst through the door. Can you guess that someone? Yep, it was Jordan.

J: I'm here! Sorry Vic. I slept in and I-

Mr. Fuentes stopped him mid sentence.

Mr. F: I don't wanna hear it. Both of you have detention today and tomorrow after school. If either of you are late tomorrow, you'll have detention for two extra days. Now take your seats. And Jordan, I told you to refrain from calling your teachers by their first names. It's considered rude.

J: Sorry, sir. I'll try not to do it again.

Me and Jordan took our seats and sat through the lesson. He was a lot later than usual today. And he's always sleeping in... I wonder how much sleep he's actually getting. I pushed the thought away and looked out the window. It was nice and sunny out today. It was a nice day for a picnic or something. After the lesson, I waited for Jordan outside of the classroom. Mr. Fuentes needed to talk to him about something. I rocked back and forth a little on my heels waiting patiently. Soon he walked out.
