AT ALL COST

HE CAN NEVER KNOW

They say everything happens for a reason. All happiness and beautiful moments come at a price. Sometimes you have to take the good with the bad and realize that nothing lasts forever. Those are the lessons I had to learn. The hard way.

I was currently in West's office sitting in his lap when he got a phone call.

"Its urgent babe, I have to go. Don't worry I won't be long. Remember to be careful. I'm sending Carolyn and Tyson over to keep you company"

"Okay" I said kissing his cheek. He kissed me back and kissed my growing belly as he left.

Five minutes later Carolyn and Tyson showed up.

Carolyn was mated to Van the Beta and Tyson was the third in command mated to Regina. They always stayed with me when West was away.

"Hey girl how are you?" Carolyn said embracing me.

"I'm fine" I said hugging her back. She was a really sweet girl.

"If you get any bigger we wont be able to step foot in here. We'll be keeping you company from outside" Tyson teased. I smacked him upside the head. He was a real jokester but I liked that about him.

We spent most of the time watching movies and eating popcorn. Right when I got comfortable mother nature called. I waddled to the bathroom to relieve myself.

As I was finishing up I felt a pain in my stomach. I saw spots of blood on the floor and started to panic.

"Is everything okay?" West mindlinked.

"Yeah I'm fine" I lied.

"You knew this would happen" my wolf said. I shut her out and cleaned up the mess. I would find a way to get this taken care of before it got worse. The baby was gone and carrying a still born could kill me.

West could never find out. If he did it was a chance he would discover what I had been keeping from him all these years. I wouldnt lose him, not now, not ever. I had come too far. I didnt know how I was going to fix this but I would find a way, no matter what.
