I got rid of the disguise went home to wait on West and Wesley in a much better mood. Knowing Lacey would soon me miles away made me feel on top of the world. It didn't matter where they took her as long as she was far away from West it would be money well spent.

"Honey I'm home"  West said coming through the door grinning with Wesley was in his arms and my Dad right behind them.

"How are my favorite guys? Did you have a good time?" I asked  excitedly kissing each one on the cheek.

"We had a blast. I think we might have a little football player on our hands. He was smiling and clapping the whole time reaching for the ball" said West proudly.

"Just when I thought he couldn't get any more like you. I guess I just have to get used to being surrounded by high levels of testosterone" I joked.

"We could always have a girl" he said smiling grabbing my waist to pull me closer.

"One's enough for now thanks" I said rolling my eyes with a smile even though inside I was freaking out. I almost lost him once because he wanted a son. There was no way I was going through that again. He just have to settle for having an heir.

"Alright you two lovebirds I'm heading home and no funny business around my grandson. But for the record a granddaughter would be nice so if you change your mind we're always available for babysitting"

"Dad!" I said outraged. I did not need him encouraging West especially not about more pups.

"We promise no funny business. At least not while he's awake and we'll definitely keep your offer in mind"  West said winking at me.

My Dad just chuckled and left.

I had to remind myself to breathe as we went inside the kitchen. He handed me Wesley and I sat him in the high chair so he could get fed before we got him ready for bed.

He laughed and kicked happily as he ate. I couldn't help but smile at him he was so full of joy. It was cute the way he never let anyone else feed him when his 'Daddy' was around. Each time West made a face or did the air plane he would giggle and clap. I could see the love between them grow a little more everyday. I wanted this forever. Not just until tomorrow or even a few years from now, but as long as I lived.

When West was done feeding him I picked up Wesley and took him to his room. I rocked him a little before placing him in his crib. I gave him a bottle and West sung to him a liitle. He wasn't lead guitar soloist material but his voice wasn't bad. Halfway through the song Wesley was out like a light and we headed to our bedroom.

A few days later

I woke up later than usual. The feeling of West's arms around me just had me wanting to stay in bed. I reluctantly unwrapped myself from his grasp and went to make him breakfast as usual. I took my phone just in case the rogue called. I was starting to panic. It had been three days and nothing. I had half a mind to go back and give him a piece of my mind. I beat the eggs with a little more force than usual since I as frustrated. Luckily West hadn't noticed anything since I made sure to act as normal as possible around him. I didn't need him questioning me about what was wrong.

As if on cue my phone vibrated and I saw an unknown number. I answered quickly praying that it was who I wanted it to be.

"Hello"  I said frantically.

"It's done. Wire the money to the account in the text I'm about to send, then delete the message immediately after. I expect payment within the hour" a voice said, then the line went dead.

I did a victory dance and fisted pumped the air. Finally she was long gone and I didn't have to worry about her and West ever meeting again.

"Never the two shall meet" I sang to myself grateful that our bedroom upstairs was soundproof.

I took West his breakfast bouncing merrily. I calmed myself a little before walking in but the smile never left my face.

"Good Morning gorgeous husband of mine" I said giving him his try and kissing him on the forehead.

"Morning baby. You seem happy" he said smiling back.

"How could I not be when I have you"

He just chuckled and drank his juice. He finished eating and got up to take a shower and get dressed. I took his cleaned tray downstairs back to the kitchen and grabbed my phone to wire the money. I had to use three accounts but I was able to get it done and West would never know. I slightly gave a thank you to whoever invented mobile banking apps, they were literally the most convenient thing ever. I checked one last time to make sure it was complete and went to check on Wesley. He was fussy since it was still a bit early for him to be up. I gave him a bottle and rocked him. He ended up going back to sleep at least for an hour or two. I went back to the bedroom but West wasn't there. I decided to check his office and wasn't surprised when I found him in there on the phone. His hair was still damp from the shower and he was sitting back in the chair legs spread wide. He decided to be casual wearing jeans and a t shirt, he looked good enough to get. The only thing that confused me was the frustrated look on his face. He hung up the phone clearly irritated and I went over to sit in his lap.

"What's wrong honey?" I asked concerned.

"You remember the meeting I went to a while back before the baby was born?" he asked.

"Yeah"  I said trying act nonchalant when in reality my heart dropped to the pit of my stomach. It was a day I remembered all to well and wished with everything in me I could forget. I tried so hard to put that day behind me but I knew I couldn't. Everyday was a constant reminder. It was the day I miscarried.

"Well that particular meeting was an international meeting. It seems that there was some trouble with rogues in Britain and they needed all the strongest alphas to be on high alert. The situation has gotten worse and they believe the U.S. may be in danger. I have to leave the country"
