THE EPILOGUE

WEST'S POV

Five Years Later

"Come on honey we're going to be late" Lacey said putting our son Justin into the car. He was four years old and a handful, just like his Dad. I counldn't help but smile thinking of how lucky I was to be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, the woman I was destined to spend the rest of my life with. I couldn't imagine my life without her. This was real and it felt nothing like when I was with Renae. I have never so much as thought of another woman since she came into my life. After I had some time to calm down and think I realized that as much as I wanted Renae to suffer I couldn't kill her. She needed mental  help so I came up with the solution to banish her instead. She was released into the custody of pack in a Yugoslavia, they had a pack doctor that specialized in mental illness and the alpha was an ally of mine. I don't know what became of her but I hope that she was cured. I was also able to get into touch with the alpha couple whose child she sole and returned their son. They were so grateful once I explained everything they made me godfather, they even let him keep the name Wesley because they thought it suited him.  We were on our way to his fourth birthday party at an amusement park and Justin was more than excited. 

"Daddy hurry" he shouted from the car window as I locked the door to house. 

"I'm coming buddy. It's not a party unless your Dad is there they won't start without us"

I got into the driver's seat and kissed on her cheek. I swear she got more beautiful everyday.

"What was that for?" she said smiling. 

"Do I need a reason?" I asked her with a smirk.

"Not at I was just wondering what I did so I could do more of it" 

"I'll take you up on that offer later" I whispered in her ear making her blush. The effect I had on her was amazing, I couldn't get enough of her.

Everyone was already waiting when we got there. Justin ran to gates as fast as his little legs could carry him and started pointing to the rides and telling us which ones he wanted to ride first. We spotted Wesley and he ran up to me. I picked him up and ruffled his hair a bit as he gave my neck a tight squeeze. 

"Uncle West you made it" 

"Of course I wouldn't miss it for anything" I sat him down and handed him his present. I bought him a Wii U for Chirstmas and every since than he kept droppig not so suttle hints about Mario Kart 8 and how it was the coolest game ever invented and you could only play it on the Wii U.

"Wow thanks what is it" he said excitedly.

"Why don't you open it" he tore the wrapping off and his eyes lite up.

"This is so cool Mario Kart 8 I have been wanting this for months thanks Uncle West"

"No problem kiddo" I said laughing as he ran to show his parents and friends. I loved that kid even though he wasn't mine he would always be like a son to me. His mother took the game and went to put it away as he and Justin dragged the rest of us around the park riding everything they could and begging to ride the rides that we forbid. They were just four and five years old but they thought they were big kids and could handle the extreme rides, I guess it was the alpha in them. After cake and ice cream and a few more games we were finally on our way home. Justin was exhausted and I would finally get some alone time with my mate without any interruptions. 

"You're in a good mood tonight. Any particular reason?" she said smirking in my direction as she made her way around our room. As soon as we were married I surprised her with a new house and let her decorate it herself. The whole house was amazing but the master bedroom was my favorite. 

"I don't know. Maybe because I am mated to the most amazing woman in the world. Maybe because my pack is the strongest there in the country because it finally has its rightful Luna. Maybe because we have the house to ourselves and our son is asleep for the night. Take your pick"

"Well that was more than expected but I will go with the last one. Were implying something is supposed to happen because Justin is sleeping?" she asked mischievously wrapping her arms around my neck.

"What do you think?" I smirked.

"Well I'm not sure you may need to elaborate a litlle. Just so we're clear"

"I can do better than that. I can show you"

"I just might have to let you"

After that no more words were spoken. I made love to her over and over again, exploring every part of her body, making sure to mark every inch of her as I memorized each and every curve. She was perfect and I would never love another the way I loved her. If my experience with Renae taught me anything it was that  love was a powerful and dangerous emotion. I would never take my mates love for granted and I would always cherish her because I will never forget how close I came to loosing her. I could only hope that Renae experience true love, that it would find her like it found me. I may not have understood why she did what she did, but one thing was for sure, she was willing to do anything for true love and no amount of magic would ever give her that. She wanted love at all cost and the price she paid turned out to be in vain. The love I had for my mate was a love I could never have had for her, but now she had a second chance to find true love the right way. As for me I had my life back and was living it the way it was meant to be.
