RENAE'S POV

"Out of the country?" I asked barely above a whisper.

"Yes" he said sighing.

"Well we can go with you" I said trying to keep calm.

"I'm sorry sweetheart but you can't"

"Why the hell not"  I said infuriated.

"Watch your tone" his wolf was starting to surface.

"I'm sorry honey. I really am I just can't bare to be away from you. Why can't I come? "

He never left the country. He never went anywhere without me and honestly it scared the hell out of me that he would even consider it.

"Look this is very serious business and you need to be here with Wesley. He's too young to travel that far and I don't want him feel like his parents are abandoning him by making a pack member babysit him all the time. I want to know both of you are safe and not be distracted. He needs you, the pack needs you here. Besides it'll only be a few days, no more than week. I hope you understand because my decision is final"

I knew there was nothing I could do to change his mind. He was leaving. I nodded my head pretending to.understand. Inside is was a wreck. What would happen if I wasn't there to give him the potion? How long would it take for the affects to wear off? What would he be like when he returned?  Would he hate me? What if he ran into Lacey? I almost started to hyperventilate at that thought. I turned my back to West and took deep breathes. That wouldn't happen. It was impossible I tried to reassure myself.

"Are you okay love?" West said wrapping his arms around my waist.

"I'm fine" I lied giving him a week smile. "I'm just going to miss you that's all"

He kissed my forehead.

"I'm going to miss you too. You know how much I love you but I have a job to do. I'll make it up to you when I get back I promise" he said kissing my mark.

"Wwhen do you leave"  I said trying to keep my mind clear as he licked my mark making me shiver.

"Tommorrow afternoon" he said huskily.

I couldn't help but moan as he started to suck and bite gently making me melt into him.

"I want you" he said lifting me up and carrying me up to our room. My worries were forgotten as he undressed me. The only thought that remained was that I was going to have to go to Britain undetected and make sure he came back to me just the way he left, full of lust and desire for me and only me.
