GETTING RID OF THE EVIDENCE

RENAES POV

As soon as Sumaya disappered I was transported into a white room.

"I was expecting you" said a gray haired man in a white coat.

"Don't worry the procedure is fairly simple" He put the gas mask on and I blacked out.

I don't know how long I stayed out but it had to have been hours. I threw the sheets off and held up my gown to look at my belly.

It looked as though I was still pregnant. There wasn't even a scar. I didnt feel any pain at all. Had it even worked?

The doctor walked in right on cue. "The procedure went well. I going to run a couple of tests but I think you have recovered enough to leave"

He couldn't be serious. I hadn't even been here long. Had I?

"Thank you. But if you dont mind me asking. How long have I been here?"

"You have been here almost a week" he said nonchalantly.

No, no, no this was not good. Surely somebody must have realized I was gone. What if West was looking for me? What if he thought I had been kidnapped? What if the plan has backfired before it even began?

The doctor must have sensed my panic. Maybe my hyperventilating gave it away.

"Calm down Mrs.Mitchell everything is fine. No one knows of your whereabouts. To everyone else barely anytime has passed. Maybe a couple hours at the most. Your guards are still frozen in time and your mate hasn't made it home. All is in order"

I let out a relieved sigh. Maybe this could work. He took some blood and left to run his tests while I waited. It didn't take long.

"Okay you are free to go. Just recite this spell to send you home. By the way Sumaya told me to tell you to remember all that was said during you last conversation. I have no idea what that means but she said you would"

"Yes of course" I knew she was reminding me not to forget the spells and how much time I had before my water supposedly broke and I would have to do one of the craziest things I ever did in my life.

He handed me a piece of paper and I recited the spell. Before I knew it I was back home. I walked out of the bathroom and the spell must have broken when I did because Carolyn and Tyson were sitting there talking, right where I left them. They weren't even aware I had left let alone been gone almost a week.

After an hour or so West showed up.  

"Why the hell haven't you two answered me I have been trying to get through forever" he said angrily to Tyson and Carolyn.

A look of confusion was on their faces as they looked at one another trying to find a logical answer.

"You've been trying to get through? Alpha we had no idea" said Carolyn worriedly.

"Yeah honestly we didn't feel a thing we swear" said Tyson.

"You two are lucky shes alright or it would be both your heads" West said seriously.

He ran over to me grabbing my waist and inhaling my scent.

"I'm fine sweetheart" I reassured him.

When he was satisfied that I was indeed alright he turned his attention to my still present belly.

"And how is Daddy's big boy?" he said leaning down and placing a soft kiss on it through my shirt. Miraculosly my clothes were the same and undamaged. It must have been part of the spell to put everything as it was before the incident.

He dismissed Tyson and Carolyn and took me upstairs to our room carrying me bridal style.

We made love and then he cuddled me as he rubbed my belly. Before he fell asleep he wispered "You both mean the world to me"
