"Wake up sis, come on let's go before anyone is up" (m/n) said.

I groaned as he continued to nudge me out of my nice warm bed "brother it's Friday at night, why are you waking me up?"

"Because by the time we get there it will be early in the morning, which means we'd still be able to get some sleep and r fully awake to test your abilities in the morning, plus I overheard some people saying they may try to attack us soon, so it may be best to hide in the woods for a while"

Again. That was all I could think as I got out of bed and grabbed my already suited-up backpack then hurried to the front door to get my shoes on, not even bothering to change out of my clothing since they could easily be passed off for everyday clothing.

It wasn't the first time the town had tried that and most definitely wouldn't be the last. I got my stuff into the back of the car along with my brother's bag as well, (m/n) got in the driver's seat and I went in the passenger seat, neither of us bothered to give our house a backward glance. It may have been a house, but it was never home to us. Never has been.

Half an hour later we saw the woods coming into view, once we got there (b/n) and found a place to park, we got out and grabbed our bags before following the path that would lead us further and deeper into the woods.

The sounds of nature were something you always fell asleep to, you supposed it had to do with your power over the earth as well as water. Brother didn't mind it but I could easily tell that the woods unsettled him.

I sometimes forget his impulse can be just as bad as mine.

Once we found a decent spot we both began to put up the tents, which was pretty difficult considering one of us had to hold the torch while the other put up their tent. We managed it in the end though, and once we were certain they were up properly, we got our sleeping bags from the car, went inside, and wrapped ourselves up to catch up on the lost sleep.

"At least I'll have a proper sleep this time" I mumbled before falling back asleep.

A few hours later when the sun was just high enough above the horizon, the siblings both woke up feeling fully rested, however as (f/n) got out of the tent and looked around the camp, she noticed that something seemed...off, and not in a good way.

"Who the heck are you?" said a male voice that sounded oddly like the girl's brother but younger.

She turned to see him, only to come face to face with her brother when he was 15 years old, she looked at herself, looked at her brother then back at her body.

"Brother it's me" she calmly spoke as she tried to hide the fear in her voice.

(M/n) squinted his eyes as he looked at the strange girl in front of him, then his eyes widened as he tried to grasp the situation.

"Woah wait a moment, (s/n)? Seriously?" he did the same thing his sister had done "why are we in the bodies of our 15-year-old selves?"

"I'm just as confused as you are" (F/n) held her hands up in defense "These don't look like the woods we went into, we're not exactly in a clearing" considering the place had more trees than last time and they were definitely weren't the same kind of trees where you lived.

Her brother was about to say something but was cut off by a sound that seemed oddly familiar "what was that?" he asked.

ROAR!

"DRAGONS?!" they shouted at the same time.

"This, this can't be real" she muttered as she tried not to panic "this can't be, maybe we've watched the movies one too many times and we're dreaming"
