I woke up to the sound of tinkering, my mind was still full of brain fog.

"Morning sleepy head" said a voice.

I tiredly blinked and rubbed my eyes to see my brother near the door frame, I groaned as I got up from my bed to stand, nearly stumbling over in the process, being stuck in a four legged creature for a whole day will do that to you, especially the ones with a tail.

"I managed to sneak some food during breakfast, I don't think I was noticed" he showed me the slices of bread "I don't think it would be a good idea to do this every day though, the sooner we get started on the crops the better"

I was finally able to use my voice "we wont do it right away as everyone will get suspicious, we'll start with planting some crops suitable for the cold then start working on the greenhouse, I'll leave you the instructions before I go into dragon form, how are you anyway?"

(Male Reader) nodded "it's still risky to have you in human form at the moment, oh well at least I have (dragon name) the Nadder to help me out, as for how I am, little dizzy but (dragon name) helped me with their body heat"

"Don't push it buddy, now" I held my hand out "good to see you well again but can I have my bread please?"

(Male Reader) rolled his eyes but handed me the bread then left me to get himself ready.

"Spare clothes are in the chest at the bottom of your bed" I heard him call.

I looked at the bottom of my bed and opened it, sure enough there was some viking clothes similar to what my brother was wearing, placing my bread on the bed side table and closing my bed room door, I took off my clothes and put on the new ones, no use having them now, at least not until we figured out a way out of here, but at the same time, I don't want to leave.

Was this all real? Or were we still in the modern world and dreaming this scenario? Everything seemed so real, it felt, smelled and even looked real, I felt like I could go crazy at any moment.

Perhaps, I thought to myself I should take the days one day at a time, that way it will make things easier.

Silently agreeing to this idea I finish off my piece of bread then proceeded to the main room where my brother was waiting, he seemed to be deep in thought.

"What are you thinking about?"

"Do you want to stay here and plant the seeds?" he asked, he still had the look of concentration on his face "it would make more sense for you to stay here so you can 'rest up' because of your wings"

I thought for a moment and nodded in agreement, besides I could always shift back and meet up with him later.

"Where's my bag?" I asked.

(Male reader) pointed towards the counters, my bag was on top of them.

I went to the bag and opened it up, there was a secret compartment that held some special seeds that I had made myself, they acted like the rare and uncommon seeds one would find in a Sims 3 game, except with these ones I could make them into what I wanted.

"Early this morning I grounded up the earth so you can just plant those seeds in the soil, I'm going out to learn more about dragons or at least get a part-time job" he grabbed his satchel then left.

I decided to do that straight away, I said 'see you later' before going out the front door and towards the turned up soil, I also would need some wood and stone to make an outside cooker.

I knew my sister would be okay even though she was on her own, but one can't help but worry when leaving the house for the market.
