I woke up from my nap, yawned then stretched, I opened my eyes and was greeted with the sight of fresh fish, it was raw, I could feel my stomach coil at the sight considering I was vegetarian.

"Oh, your awake" I looked up to see that it was Hiccup "wow you look amazing, I have never seen your kind before, I am so jealous that your rider found you first"

Yep, that's Hiccup alright, only he would act as if dragons were humans, he was the only one who found them more interesting than humans, besides Fishlegs of course. I flinched back when I noticed his hand reaching for my head, don't get me wrong I would to try and bond with him a little, but with me in pain and not really being a real dragon it may not be a good idea.

"Okay, flinches when seriously injured, that's a good sign your healing well" he mumbled "your not eating anything so I'm guessing you have an upset stomach"

It was just now that I realised I had something leaning on me, or rather someone, Toothless.

"Now that I've got a better look, you look similar to Toothless, I wonder if your related in someway"

That was a possibility, obviously we wouldn't be brothers and sisters so I'm guessing cousins? After all it was possible for cousins to look similar to each other but with their own personal touches as well.

"I'll check the Book of Dragons first and see if I can find you okay?"

Does he always talk on his own? Oh right he likes to treat dragons as if they could talk, I forgot. I shifted a bit so I could stretch out more, but made sure that I didn't upset my wing, I felt and noticed Toothless moving as well but making sure that he didn't knock me in the process, I knew dragons were protective but I wasn't sure if it included their kind getting injured.

I watched as Hiccup began looking through the book, muttering under his breath and looking at me every so often, I resisted the urge to roll my eyes, that was one of the many things I liked about him.

Summoning all the strength I could muster, I pushed myself up, shifted my wing a little and proceeded to limp towards Hiccup, who still had his head stuck in the book and still mumbling. I nudged his leg to get his attention, it worked on the third try.

"Wha..? What are you doing? You should be laying down and resting" Hiccup stated as he placed the book down.

I just looked at him before placing my snout against his opened hand, Hiccup flinched from shock but didn't pull back, as I opened my eyes they connected with Hiccup's and for a moment I saw his inner self, a boy who was lonely his entire child hood, who then found a friend in the most unlikeliest places at the age of 15 and gained more friends afterword, but most of all, I saw the trust had in everyone.

Then the moment was ruined when Toothless decided he wanted to be let in on the fun.

"AH! Toothless" Hiccup cried as the Night Fury tried to get his attention, aw, he just wanted some fussing and attention.

"Hu, hu, hu" was the best I could do for laughing before trying to get Toothless off of his rider.

Once I managed to calm everyone down I looked back at Hiccup, who was still on the bed panting, then he groaned before pushing himself back up.

"I guess I should be grateful that you didn't destroy the book"

I looked in the direction he was looking at, the book in question was on the floor face down, I was surprised that the pages hadn't been crippled yet. I moved towards the book and tried to lift it with my snout, I didn't dare risk using my claws in case I damaged it.

"I appreciate the help girl but let someone with fingers do it"

I moved to the side, not feeling insulted by the sentence and watched as he picked it up and placed it back on his bed side table before turning back to me "since you can walk better, how about we get you outside for some fresh air?"

Before I could stop myself, I began to bounce on my paws as well as imitate an over excited puppy.

"Whoa there Isis, you'll injure yourself more if you keep doing that" there was a small smile on Hiccup's though, most likely happy that I wasn't looking glum "follow me"

I followed him out of his room, down the stairs and out the front door, I was greeted by the sight of dragons and vikings walking and flying around like it was an everyday thing.

"Isis, good to see you awake girl"

I looked around until I saw my brother coming towards me in his new Berk clothing, the top was similar to Hiccup's but was a (light/dark) blue while his trousers were (brown/grey), his dark brown, furry boots seemed to compliment the look.

I smiled the best I could before walking towards him and nuzzling his leg.

"Someone's happy to see me" he joked as he nuzzled my sweet spot that made me purr like a kitten.

"I'll help you get her home, after that I'll let you get settled in"

"Sounds good to me" (male reader) replied.
