"They never have any good food at these meetings, why not pastries coated with chocolate and cream, now there's food, not dried fruit and bread. No butter. Might I add that they are only serving water to drink!" ranted the dwarf to the fairy sitting next to him at the round table which is seated for eight but only had five at the moment. The dwarf's name is Brain Stonestriker. His father used to be a miner as was his father and his father. Brain was a middle child of seven brothers and sisters. He was elected into the council position. Unlike the fairy he was boring to tears. The faery's name is Rewolf. She's part of the 15% of the population of faery's that didn't think the whole world consist of her and beauty. That didn't make her any less concerned about her looks. Don't misjudge her though, she cares a great deal about those she rules.
Her black hair was neatly braided behind her, naturally she was beautiful and gratify for the healthy good, got to watch the figure. Her wings were like a monarch and were folded comfortably back. Although she has two different colored eyes. One blue and the other violet. With these eyes she stared at the dwarf nodding as if sharing kindred upsets.
".....honestly! What we need is some meat! eh? What say you Greg?" Brain said to a rather odd looking man sitting across from him. If he could be called that. Gregory is actually a Griffin, wisest of all species. His head is that of a snowy owl. His eyes were like yellow orbs, they rested in his head and bore into a book labeled "History of magic and it's Artifacts" He wore no clothing(what griffin does?) therefore his feline body, that had taken humanoid properties temporarily for the meeting was of a Siberian tiger. Closing the book delicately with his claws he addressed the dwarf.
"I agree, some meat would be quite satisfying after such a long flight."
Seated to the left of the griffin was a graceful figure. She was thin, slender, and delicately built. Her skin and simple cotton gown were as white as snow, giving Gregory a dingy cream appearance. She was young and childlike but her blue eyes, a subtle midnight blue, told she lived longer than most at the table. Her hair was sun colored, simmering as she moved head . Oddly though in the middle of her forehead was a horn. Straight and of slivery contrast. Unity was a unicorn and this was her human form. She sniffed at the two's remark. It horrified her to even think of eating animal. She spoke with a voice like music notes of melancholy song. " I think we should be glad of what we were given , this is plenty, why kill?"
"It's a necessary part of life Unity" stated Rebecca, high Elf Chairman of the Elven courts.
"Without meat, which is in some living things diet they would starve and probably ruin the ecosystem. I'm sure a few deaths is worth the existence of everything, hmmm?" with that she pursed her lips together. Not that you could see. Rebecca was invisible due to some accident. The only way to see her was when she was clothed. She wore heavy make up and dresses or other clothes that covers her completely up to her neck. She was the tallest in the room save for Gregory and of average built, it is rare to find a fat elf. She shaved her head, so no hair to fuss with.
"I say! Where the devil is everybody" Brain gestures to the empty chairs.
"I know the goblin" he spat "Never shows, but Queen Arial should already be here." he pointed out her chair to the right of Gregory.
"Now, Now, Stonestriker! Don't you know a queen is never late?" Laugh the dragon ruler, "Brian! How long has it been?" she had appeared behind him and now gave him a noggin like a older sister. Waving his arms he grunted "Gerroff! Now that leaves Gaius....." His voice trailed off as he just notice an old gray man nibbling on the bread in front of him.
"Tut, tut, you would think butter was provided" he sighs "Oh well like I need it any way." patting hid mid section. "Now! Lets get to business......"
