I was trapped. Surrounded by eternal night. I can't breath. I strike out hoping to feel something. I hit a wall. The darkness was what was choking me. I hit again. No result. Again. A noise, a splitting cracking noise. A piece falls, light spills in and suddenly I can breathe. I tear at the walls furiously. Success! I'm laying on the pieces of my prison. I am breathing more easily gulping in such tasteful air. I feel a presence, someone warm and kind. I smile and reach out towards it. I see my hands in front of me. I scream in horror as I stare at my claws. I trip over a tail, MY TAIL! I'm on my knees crying. My skin turns to leather and gets harder and harder. I fall on my face the last thing that fills my vision is an irregular black shape, from my prison now hanging on a silver chain. The pendent from Gaius.
