Steve finally calmed down and passed out after a few minutes.
Darren started asking Mr. Crepsley questions and took everything we would probably need from the house and put it in the bag I had downstairs and other bags I had and our - Darren and my- room.
" I will probably have to hot-wire a car for transport, considering the past out Steve. I doubt you can carry two people. You guys stay here, I'll go scout one out."
I laid the bags on the left side of the door and left.
It only took me a few minutes to find a dark blue jeep renegade and bring it back.
" I'm driving." Mr. Crepsley said as I went to pick up the unconscious Steve.
Darren helped put Steve in the back and went ahead and took the passenger seat while I sat behind the back seat.
Steve woke up halfway there.
He was running a favor.
" You want some ice?" I asked him.
" I'll be fine. It's not that bad." He said as he sat up.
I hopped over and sat down on the seat that was on the right of him, made two ice sickles, wrapped them in one of Darren's shirts and handed it to him.
He laid his head against the window, the ice between his head and the window.
