( Emma's P.O.V.)
I woke up and went to go help the gang with the giant tent they were putting up for the show tonight.
" Why do I smell weed and moonshine on you guys?" I asked Steve and Darren.
" Some guy appeared at the entrance and wanted to talk to Sam."
" Did he know him?"
" He only met him yesterday. The guy was drunk and high off his ass."
" Swear jar." Emme told him.
" I don't have any more money."
" Then you have to help me with something."
" What?"
" You have to read me a bedtime story for a week."
" Alright."
I looked at over at Sam who was helping set up the chairs. He was angry.
" He will get over it." I told Darren when I looked over at him and saw that he was looking at Sam across the room.
After we were all set up, Darren asked if Sam could stay and watch the show.
" I suppose, he did help out. Tonight's show does not contain anything too graphic."
" Thank you, Mr. Tall. One more thing, tell Andrew not to let in a person called R.V., he has a shaggy black beard, black hair, and deep brown eyes. He's chubby and average high for his age."
" I will notify him."
" Thank you again, Sir."
( That night)
( Darren's P.O.V.)
" Hey, Becca, is my jacket done?" I asked her as I darted into the costume shop.
" Ya, it's on the table!" She yelled from the back. " Break a leg!"
" When you're done you should come and watch!"
" I will!"
I darted backstage and met up with Mr. Crepsley.
I would be controlling Madame Octa- Mr. Crepsley's venomous pet spider- with a small flute, causing her to crawl all over Mr. Crepsley, then I would tall her to climb up the beam that was on the far left and web " Happy Birthday Sam Grest" as a birthday gift for Sam. He was turning nine today. He didn't know I was doing it, so he was surprised.
He loved it.
We exited off the stage and I went to go talk to Alexander about practicing with his knives when the smell of faded moonshine hit my nose as the crowd continued to sing " Happy Birthday" to Sam.
He wasn't in the crown, he was outside.
" I'll be right back." I said as I gave Mr. Crepsley the flute.
I followed his scent and I darted when I heard the chain of the Wolf-Man's cage hit the floor.
" R.V., STOP!" I yelled as he went to go inside the cage.
The Wolf-Man was trained to stay in his cage, but he doesn't like it when people he doesn't know are in his cage, or when he threatens people.
" You told me everything was alright!" He yelled at me. " I trusted you! This poor thing is caged!"
" Just step away. He doesn't like people he doesn't know around his cage. He will hurt you."
R.V. looked at me, then to the Wolf-Man who was now growling at him.
R.V. became angrier on the spot and he walked towards me, and that just made the Wolf- Man even more aggravated. We had gotten to know each other because I was normally the one to clean out his cage and feed him.
" I'M TURNING ALL OF YOU INTO THE COPS!" He yelled as he grabbed me by the collar of the shirt with both hands.
" Stay." I told the Wolf-Man as he started coming out of his cage.
He stayed put.
" No, it's alright, come on out," R.V. said as he looked back at him. " I'll help you get you off here."
" R.V., please-"
" SHUT THE HELL UP!" He said as he let go of my shirt with his right hand, balled his fist up and went to punch him.
I caught his hand in my left palm.
His eyes filled with shock and he went to tackle me but I grabbed his hand with my right one and pulled his hand off and stepped back.
" What are you?" He asked.
" Human."
" No. No human could do that and not even break a sweat."
I looked back at the Wolf-Man who was standing a few feet away from R.V., left claw raised.
I grabbed R.V. and practically tossed him aside to save him from the Wolf-Man's attack.
Before he could lunge for R.V., I breathed gas into his nose and he passed out.
Vampires can breathe a gas that can make people lose consciousness.
I looked over as R.V. who was halfway across the campsite, a long skid mark was clearly visible.
" HELP!" He started yelling. " THIS MONSTER ALMOST-"
Before he could finish, I flitted over to where he was and knocked him out with my gas as well.
The show was still going so people weren't able to hear him. I took that time to put the Wolf-Man back in his cage and tie it shut.
After that was handled, I picked him up and flitted him to the side of the road and left him there.
