Chapter 6 : Paparazzi

Skyler's POV :

  I yawn.. Everyone is up.. I hurry and wash up, I get downstairs to see a grand feast. "Morning Skyler." everyone says. "Morning! Wow! This looks DELICIOUS!" I say in excitement. "Lay insisted to wait for you." D.O says. I smile at Lay, everyone sits down and begins to eat. "So how did everyone sleep yestarday?" I ask while laughing. "Beautifully beside sleeping beauty." Chen answers. Karen looks at Chen with a smile on her face. Such a pity for Karen.. I finish up and take my leave, I hear voices behind me. "Wait! Miss! Stop!" they say. I turn around, there's paparazzi. "Miss, does EXO live here?" one asks. "EXO? That kpop band? They live in another city.." I answer. "See! They aren't here!" one says. "Wait, how do you know that?" another asks. Crap! "A friend told me in that city." I answer. The paparazzi leave, that was close..

  I hear footsteps behind me again, Suho runs to me. "Skyler! Thank you!" he says. "Huh?" I answer. "We could've been exposed.." he says. "Oh.. No problem.." I say with a smile. Suho suddenly pulls me and runs back inside locking the door. "Su-Suho!" I say. "Guys! Close the curtains!" he shouts. Everyone gets to work, "Aren't you guys safe?" I ask. "Paparazzi aren't that easy to deal with." he answers dragging me upstairs. "What do we do now?" Sehun asks. "You know the drill, songwriting." Baekhyun says. "But can't we have a break?" Chanyeol whines. I laugh. Kai drags Chanyeol into the recording room, Sehun follows along. "Good luck!" I say. D.O is cooking lunch downstairs, Xiumin is reading, Lay is taking a nap, Chen is on the phone and Suho is practising his vocals.

  What should I do? Everyone's busy, I guess I'll take a shower. I close the door and take off my clothing, I jump into the shower. I start to sing Unfair by EXO, EXO is unfair, they make butterflies flutter in my stomach! The door opens as I shut up, I hear Kai's voice "Should've closed the door Kyung-soo." he says. I'm not D.O! Kai does his business, I think I'm going to freak out. "Kyung-soo?" he says. I cover my mouth, "Answer me." he says. I'm frozen. "Fine I'll get out.." he says. My life is saved, I continue to sing like nothing happened. I turn off the tap and hear a closing sound, someone was listening to me.. I race out of the shower and put on new clothes, I see no one on this floor. I open the first door I see without thinking twice, I see Kai.  Am I stupid? "What do you need?" he asks. "U-Uh.. My bad I thought this was another room! I'll go now." I say while trembling. Kai grabs me by my wrist, "Are you hiding something?" he asks. "N-No.." I answer while forcing him to let go.

  I make my way downstairs to smell D.O's cooking. "Mmm.. What's for lunch?" I ask. "Hanwoo beef and curry." He answers. I dig in, "Mmm.. Delicious!" I say while smiling. D.O walks towards me and hands me a beautiful small box. "What's this?" I ask. "Open it, I'm sure you'll love it." he says. I open the small box and found a diamond necklace with my name on it. "Omo! This is beautiful D.O!" I say while hugging him. He hugs me back, "It's a token of appreciation." he says.  "Kyungsoo-ah.." Chanyeol says. "Ah what is it Chanyeol?" he says. "I'm starving.. I need energy.. I can't think.." he says with a miserable tone. I laugh, "Channie, have some beef and curry." I say. Chanyeol runs to his seat and munches on his food, he looks so cute. "Skyler, did you eat?" he asks. "I only tried a bit." I answer. Chanyeol feeds me a piece of meat, I open my mouth. D.O watches us from the kitchen, he has a jealous expression.  I quickly say "I'm gonna go do some homework, eat slowly Channie." D.O smiles and says "Bye Skyler!". I'm glad he's relieved, now I've gotta find something to do..
