Chapter 13 : Halloween

Skyler's POV :

   After Kai 'tutoring' me, we get ready for dinner. "You guys hungry?" D.O asks. "I'm starving~~" I say. I get surprised by Chanyeol feeding me my meal, "Mffm.. Channmfie!" I say. Chanyeol laughs, "Say Ahh~" he says. I let him feed me until my mouth is full like a squirrel. I continue to eat myself, "I think I failed the exam.." Chen says. "Positive thoughts Chen." Lay says. "Guys, Halloween is in two days, let's host a party!" Baekhyun suggests. "Ooh a party! Yeah!" I say. "Great!" Chanyeol says. "I'm gonna be a police officer." Sehun says. "I'll be a doctor!" Baekhyun says. Hmm.. What should I be? A cat! "I'm gonna be a black cat!" I say. "I'll be your owner!" Suho says with a wink. We laugh as we finish our dinner. "Skyler, follow me! I'll show you your room!" Xiumin says. I follow Xiumin into a pastel pink room with a queen size bed and a desk with a tv. "Wow! It's so nice in here!" I say. Xiumin smiles, "Good, I thought you wouldn't like it!" he says. "I don't like it. I LOVE IT!" I say while hugging him. Xiumin pats my head, "Thank you, Skyler." he whispers. 

  We head out to the living room, "Let's plan out the party!" Xiumin suggests. I nod, "How about we have drinks, snacks like chips and pizza, we could put on a movie and play some games!" I suggest. "Perfect! Baekhyun, get over here!" Xiumin says. Baekhyun sits beside me, he reads the plan, he adds some ideas in. I study the writing, Baekhyun's writing is similar to the one on the note. Xiumin's is different. I already know Chen likes me, Sehun was my first kiss.. Could it be Suho who wrote that? I get ready for bed and drift off to sleep.

  Baekhyun wakes me up, "Wake up princess!" he says with a soft voice. I smile, "Morning Baekie!" I say. "We're going costume shopping! Get ready!" he says while I sit up. Baekhyun comes closer to me, "Baekie?" I say. Baekhyun kisses my forehead, "I'll see you later, princess." he says while leaving. My face burns up, Byun Baekhyun just.. Thinking about what happen makes me fangirl! I start to get ready, I get in the car, "Morning Sleepyhead!" D.O says. "Mm. You too Sqwuishy." I say. We drive to the costume store, I start to look for my costume. "Excuse me, do you have a black cat costume here?" I ask the cashier. The cashier nods and leads me to the costume section, I pick up my costume and the other member's just incase the cashier faints. I use Suho's card to purchase the costumes. "I'm back!" I announce. "Costumes!" they say. I get in the car, we drive back to school. "I'll hand out some invitations." I say. "Don't give it to random people Skyler!" Chanyeol says. "I know, I'm not a kid Channie." I say. We arrive at school.

  "Karen!" I call. I hand Karen a card, "What's this??-- Halloween party?" she asks. "Yep! Tomorrow at EXO's place! Get a costume kk? Bye!" I answer while running. I hand invitations to my classmates, I return back at their place, "I'm done!" I announce. "Good job Sky!" D.O says while handing me a cupcake. "Aww! Thanks D.O!" I say while stuffing my mouth with the cupcake. We spend the rest of the day talking and laughing. I wake up in Sehun's room, "Huh? Where--" I say. "You're awake!" Sehun says while smiling. "How did I get here?" I ask. "You fell asleep on the couch, I carried you here." he answers. "Wait, that means you couldn't sleep.." I say. "It's fine, did you sleep well?" he asks. "Great." I answer. I check the time, 12PM, "I slept in!" I gasp. "The party's at 6PM it's okay." he says while smiling. Sehun pats my head, "Morning Sleeping Beauty.' he says. I smile, "Good morning my prince." I say. We get ready for brunch, I pass by the recording room, I listen to a voice. "~Hello you came to me~, Giving me your shy~ scent~ In my hazy dream~ You were shining~ dazzling~ With a fluttering heart, without knowing~ I went to you, step by step. And I stayed by your side~ My heart melts at your smile~ When our eyes meet~ My heart~ pounds~" he sings. That sounds like, Baekhyun, I open the door a little bit to see him. Baekhyun sees me, he's smiling, "Hi, Skyler." he says. I smile, "Keep singing." I say while sitting beside him. I watch him sing as hours pass. I fall in love with his voice. 

  It's 5 PM, I get to my room, I put on my makeup and costume. I attempt the smokey eye with white eyeliner to make my eyes pop out, I put on red cherry lipstick and playful pink blush, I curl my hair. I step out, EXO is preparing outside my room, as soon as I walk out, all eyes are on me. "Our princess is pretty as ever today!" Baekhyun says. I blush, "Hehe." I say. Everyone compliments me on how I look, as we finish up setting the house, people start to come. "Hey guys!" I say. We put on music, the dj is rocking it. Karen and I are dancing, "Dude you have the BEST costume EVER." she says. "Omg you couldn't believe they boys' faces when they saw me." I say. We party all night long, a slow song goes on. I look around for a partner, my partner was right beside me. "May I have this dance?" Kai asks. I nod, "Yes you may." I say. We start to slow dance as Baekhyun sings the song he sang for me. This was the night of my life.
