PANDAVAS IN TROUBLE

The challenge was halted because both karna and Arjun were equally strong. Later it was said that one day a challenge will surely kept between both of them. Clearly at this instance both of them were strong enemies of each other. Arjun always wanted to make Karna a loser.. So as karna also had the same aim.
Everybody were happy with their own work. In few days Yudisthir was about to be crowned as a king of Hastinapur. All were making arrangements for that. But the only one who couldn't digest this fact was Duryodhan. He was dreaming for a very long time to become a king.
But he had a very nice plan in his mind.

"Shakuni mama !what do I do now? You told I'll only be the king but now it's all reversed. I can't bare this anymore. I'm going and asking my father myself for my rights. Let anything happen I do not care!"

"Dont be angry Duryodhan, I have a plan. Come and listen to me and do whatever I say."

"Pitashree, I have a thought in my mind. You were telling that you had to go to the forest of Varnavrat for some reason, Why don't we send Yudisthir for that? Anyway he will be crowned the king of Hastinapur very shortly,so if we send him only they will also be happy."
"Yes my son. Even I have become very old and I can't see also. I completely agree to your words. As you planned make arrangements for their comfort and stay."

"Mamashree!! I'm really happy. Father agreed to our plan. So tomorrow instead of father Yudisthir is only going."

"Very good Duryodhan. That's why I tell you, that you should always listen to your mama. If you continue to listen and do what I say you will surely get what you desire."

"Not only this good news I have bought to you mamashree. There's another good news too. When father presented this deal in front of Yudisthir, even his brothers and his mother were there. They didn't agree for Yudisthir going alone. So father told Yudisthir that he can also take his mother and brothers with him."

"What you told today has made me soo happy Duryodhan. Come let's celebrate this joyful moment of ours. Come!"

"Yudisthir,my son Duryodhan had behaved so badly with all of you, but now he has changed. He has made all the arrangements for you and your brothers. He has also made one of the greatest builder-Purochan to build a palace specially for you people to stay. Go on my son, Purochan will also guide you there. Now go and bring us a good news soon."

The pandavas took blessings from all elders and were ready to go to the forest of Varnavrat.
Just before they leave mahamantri Vidur came and said,"my sons, when there is a forest fire, which is the only animal which can be safe from it?
The answer to this riddle will help you escape death. I can't tell anything anymore. Go and come back safely. Ayushman bhava."

"Brother Yudisthir,I still can't believe about Duryodhan. How can he ever change to such an extent? And why did kakashree speak to us in that way? What difficulties do we have to face because of Duryodhan? There must be some bad intension of his behind this."

"Arjun, why do you always suspect Duryodhan? After all he is your brother! I know kakashree doesn't speak anything without a cause. But it doesn't mean you should blame Duryodhan for that. Now just keep quiet and come."

When they reached Varnavrat,they could see Purochan waiting for them near the palace far away. They reached near the palace and Purochan welcomed them inside. When they went inside, all of them were mesmerized by the architecture. It was really constructed well.
Purochan explained them about the palace and left the palace.
After few months or so they understood the plan of Duryodhan.
Actually the palace was constructed with wax. So Duryodhan had secretly asked Purochan to set the palace on fire when the pandavas were asleep.

"Oh, now I get it. This is the reason why Duryodhan forced us to go and stay in the palace which was constructed by his own member."

"Yes putr Nakul, you are absolutely correct. I never even imagined that Duryodhan will start doing such a thing. Hmmm. I thing there is a link between Vidur's riddle and this!"

Suddenly Sahdev shouted, "yes mother what you said is true. Now I also get the answer to his riddle. The only animal which survives during a forest fire is a rat,because it digs a hole underground. Since our palace is made of wax, that wicked Purochan is planning to set this palace on fire and kill us."

"Yes my sons. Now we don't have much time. We must escape alive from here as soon as possible."

Soon after that Vidur sent pandavas a miner who created an underground tunnel for them with its one mouth in the center of the palace-house and the other mouth close to river Ganges. The tunnel was being dug in secrecy and was completed in less than 6 months. The person who had come to build the tunnel completed his job of building the tunnel, concealed the entrance, informed the pandavas of the same, and left. From the first day, Bheem and Purochan were conspiring to kill each other. Purochan was waiting to set the Palace of Wax on fire after everybody slept. But since Bheem used to be awake all night, Purochan never got a chance to do so.

Seeing that Bheem never slept even a single day and stayed awake all the time, Purochan asked his wife, a Nishadas huntswoman and her five sons to the palace to help him complete his mission. Her objective was to poison the food given to the pandavas. But Bheem sensing danger ate the entire food, without her knowledge. Since Bheem had already consumed the Kalakoota poison as a child, the poison mixed in the food did not have any effect on him. Later in the night Purochan not knowing that the Pandavas were simply sleeping assumed them to be dead. To celebrate this Purochan began drinking and within hours was drunk. Utilizing this opportunity the pandavas set fire to the palace and escaped through the tunnel. Ironically in the ensuing fire, Purochan,his wife, and her five sons themselves perished. Meanwhile, on the other side, a boat-man sent by Vidur saw the Pandavas as they emerged from the tunnel close to the banks of river and ferried the Pandavas and their mother to safety. News about the fire reached Hastinapur and Duryodhan,who did not know that his plan had gone awry, assumed that the Pandavas were dead and secretly rejoiced. Only Vidur knew that the Pandavas were safe and he shared that information with Bhishma alone later.
