DURYODHAN'S MARRIAGE

Back in Hastinapur...

Almost six years were over after the death of Pandavas. Almost everybody had forgotten about it. Only Vidur and Bhishma know the happy truth. Duryodhan was in his own dream world because he was to be crowned the king of Hastinapur soon.

"I promise you my friend that what ever happens I'll never betray you. Throughout my life I'll only work on your behalf and support you."

Karna was in his room,just recalling what he had once said to Duryodhan. He was almost in the mode of regression. Just then Duryodhan came into his room and destroyed his thoughts. "Karna,my friend! Tomorrow there is a marriage ceremony in Rajapura. The king has invited me also. So I wish that you also come to with me. All are telling that the princess is very beautiful. I will surely marry her."

"Okay my dear friend. You don't have to request me. I'm always there for you. I'll be there with you tomorrow."
"That's my friend. Ok now we'll get ready for tomorrow, come."

It was the next day. Duryodhan and karna were already in their chariot going towards Rajapura. When they reached there they were surprised to see so many great Kings seated and were waiting eagerly for the princess to come. Duryodhan was also honoured and made to be seated.
Suddenly there was a strong silence.
"Beware, princess Banumathi is comming!"

Everyone's head turned towards that beautiful lady who was comming with a flower garland in her hand. She came to each Prince but all were rejected by her. She then reached Duryodhan, but to his surprise he was also rejected by her. Duryodhan couldn't bare this insult and he at any cost wanted to marry her. So he decided to kidnap Banumathi. He asked his friend Karna to kidnap her and he will manage the Kings in the ceremony Hall. So Karna decided to kidnap Banumathi for his friend. But Banumathi had a friend named Supriya who didn't allow karna to kidnap Banumathi. So because of this he had to kidnap Supriya as well. Everything had happened according to Duryodhan's plan. Now he could marry Banumathi.
But she put a condition for their marriage to happen. The condition was that he shouldn't marry any other girl after he marries her. He agreed to this condition and both of them married happily.
But there was another problem!
What about my friend Supriya? Now nobody will marry her since she was also kidnapped. Who will marry her now?

"My friend Karna will marry her. Since he was the one who kidnapped her he should only marry her!"

Karna was totally shocked to listen this. Actually karna loved a girl called Rushali and he had promised her that he will marry her only. Now he had no other go. According to his promise made to Duryodhan long back,he had to marry Supriya.
So even karna's marriage with Supriya was done.
