Before I begin this chapter I just want to say thank you guys for reading my story. Honestly, I wasn't expecting to get so much views. Since this is my first attempt in writing a book. You see I always had a secret passion for writing and when I first came to wattpad after reading so many awesome stories written by people just like me I was inspired and so, I just started typing without even thinking and that is how this story was born.
Anyways, I just want to say thank you again for reading and voting and most of all thank you for commenting and telling me to "update soon".
Since it' been so long since I update this story let's recap:
Karma got kidnapped by Duncan.
Karma escaped and Duncan followed her.
Meeting into her brother's men Karma turned into the forest where she hurt her ankle. Thus, she and Duncan had to spend the time together in the dark forest.
:-) -----------------------------------------------------:-)
The morning sunrise left karma breathless. It was the first time she had ever seen anything so beautiful. So mesmerized by the radiant colours behind the trees she hadn't even realised that her buttock was pressed into Duncan's stomach or that his arms was around her waist. Bright streak of orange, pink and gold slowly replaced the dark sky. Aye, it was truly beautiful; perfect (the way the colours blended) and pure. Karma didn't want to take her eyes from the glorious sight, she was afraid of even blinking not, certain that something so beautiful only once in a lifetime.
The way the golden light slowly overcame the darkness gave her goose bumps as a thrilling feeling of awe swept over her. The sun smiled up from the horizon, it's loving rays streamed through the trees making the tree seem as if they were glowing, as it warmed the cold, crisp air.
If only she had sunrises like this to watch on some of her darkest days she would have been convinced that somewhere there is goodness, light fighting the darkness in the world. If only, just only had she gotten a glimpse of a sunrise like this... life would be so much easier.
After taking in the sunrise Karma looked over at Duncan and her heart tightened at how peaceful and relaxed he was, so much that he almost seems as if he was smiling. His slow breathing was soothing. She tried not to stare at him but he was the second most overwhelming sight of the day. His black hair looked blue-black from the sun shining on it, the shadow of beard made him look even more handsome. She was tempted to rub her fingers against it. His hands unconsciously moved up her body and her heart began racing. She was surprised by the way his innocent touch affected her. She scrolled herself, closed her eyes and will herself to think of something else. She decided to remove his hands from her. Aye, that was the right thing to do she thought, but she was afraid of waking him when he looked so peaceful. As she gently pulled his hands from around her he let out a soft moan and slowly came awake.
