Baron Winsley men stood at attention around his estate. Night was descending so it was the other men's shift. They worked in shift now. The estate was under ultimate protection from the day Duncan barged in to the Winsley Manor and kidnapped the lord's sister. Twenty four- seven they had to be on their guard. After their 6 am breakfast they had to be on the lookout, guarding the estate without any other meal for the day until 6 pm when they would get their dinner.

Winsley had send a troop to the Baron Duncan castle to investigate their security. If they didn't return that would suggest they have decent security.

They were sometimes when Richard Winsley felt frustrated and this was one of those times which made him miss his dear little sister.

He knew what he needed, a little play time. For the Duncan affair has gotten him a little uneasy. He summoned his lover, heading to the direction of the bedrooms the boy followed behind focusing on the patterns on the floor. He knew what was about to happen and if he didn't go along with it his mother will pay.

In the dark bedroom Winsley lit the candle and watched as the glowing flame illuminated the young boys beautiful body. He was about 13 years old, one of the cook's sons. He had set his eyes on him since he was a little child running around the estate screaming for his mother. With a little persuasion his pathetic mother agreed to give up his son to him.

The boy's hands shook as he undid his buttons staring at his own hands.

"Look at me." Winsley commanded and he looked at him immediately. "Good boy."

Duncan followed behind Karma has she tipped across the room. Karma was trying to escape. He couldn't let her go. Not only because she was his way to get to Winsley but because it was dangerous. He was not her brother's only enemy. Any other person would gladly slit her without hesitation.

Hiding in the stable he watched as she mount old Nana's back. He did not want her to feel like a captive so he did not rush after her when he saw her go. He signalled to his men, telling them not to intervene. Of course he intended on persuading her to go back with him and the best way to do so isn't brute force.

Duncan jumped on his horse. He knew Karmaline isn't far ahead. She won't get too far on old Nana.

Karma took one last look behind her, at the huge castle that she was trapped though she felt more trapped in her own home. And her mind ran on Duncan, he was an interesting person. He seemed caring and noble. But she knew better than to trust outwards appearance, she didn't get the chance to learn that valuable fact but she was thought it. Men of his power and prestige don't love much less care about the likes of her. They simply use and abuse. Duncan only wanted to use her to get back at Richard he is no different from the rest. She was not a fool to believe that the way he held her close to his and cradled her in to his arms the other night was true. The glint of concern she thought she saw in his was just a configuration of her mind. Sometimes the stupid little girl inside her wanted to be cared for so badly she pretend they cared when she knows that they truly would eat you alive if they were hungry enough.

The size of the castle decrease with the further distance away. Focusing ahead was a fort of men. She knew who they were, they were Richards's men. She couldn't let them see her but they spotted her right away. Immediately they approached her. Panicked Karma turned towards the right, in the forest.

Where on Earth was she heading? Duncan thought has he saw her turned swiftly into the forest.

Duncan hand tightened on the rein has the horse came to a halt when he saw who were ahead of him. He turned and follow Karma into the woods where old Nana took her.

"Karmaline" Duncan called. "Karmaline." Karma continued to ride in the direction she was heading. She couldn't believe that Richard send men after her. He was coming for her she needed to get away. It was much darker in the forest but karma didn't slow down she continued not knowing where he was going. He was coming for her. He was calling her name.

"Wait Karmaline", Duncan shouted again. It was not safe the way she was going in the dark. Realising that she had no intention of stopping he put two fingers into his mouth and blow. Creating a loud whistling sound that made Nana stopped immediately.

Karma jumped off the horse ungracefully and ran out into the darkness. Duncan followed after her on his horse. Until she hit her foot on something and fell on the leave covered earth. The cry out and like a cat on her knees and arms she struggled to get away. Crawling away she began saying, "no, no, no." She sounded terrified, he had no idea she was so frightened of him.

He came down off his horse and walk up to her slowly afraid he might just terrified her even more. But he tried anyway. "I'm not going to hurt you Karmaline. Calm down. I'm not going to hurt you. But her breathing just got worst, ragged has she fight to catch her breath and to escape.

"No, no, no" she plead. He was close to her saying things, she didn't hear. Didn't care. He was going to take her into his amusement room. He was going to punish her for being a naughty girl. A naughty girl for defying him.

Duncan didn't know if he should proceed further but he had to calm her down.

He took her into his arms and sooth her against his chest. "Saying your safe" in a hushed tone.

Karma heard her mother voice telling her that she was safe and to calm down. Then she realise her surroundings. She was in a dark forest being hushed by Duncan and her body stiffened involuntarily. Noticing karma change of state and the way her body stiffened against him he let her go.

"We need to find a safe spot to camp tonight. Can you walk? "She nodded her head indicating a yes. All the while the words, tonight, camp, we, alone ringing in her head.
