Chapter 14

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. I clicked the home button on my phone to look at the date. Sunday! A day to myself. I got up and went to the bathroom. I took down my hair and brushed it out. Ew. It's really greasy. I turn on the shower and in the mean time I peeled off my clothes. I put my finger under the water to check the temperature. Perfect. I hopped in and started to shampoo my hair. I lathered it up and rinsed out all the shampoo. Then I did the same with the conditioner, but only on the tips of my hair. I washed my body with my favorite body wash from Bath & Body Works that smelled like peaches. Guess I'm going to Bath and Body Works today because there is only enough left for one more shower. When I rinsed off my body I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around me. I opened the shower curtain and walked out. I walked over to my room and dried my hair. Then I used my favorite brush and brushed it out. I decided to let it air dry today because I wanted my hair to be wavy today. Then I picked out a pair of high waisted studded white shorts, a black band tshirt and a pink, flowy cardigan with some boots and I was done. I was thinking of texting Niall to see if he wanted to come with me to the mall, but he needs some man time with the boys. So I put my phone in my purse and walked towards the door, only to be interrupted by my phone ringing.

"Hello?"

"Hi Emily what are you doing today?"

"Uh hi Niall, I'm just going to do some errands."

"Oh,do you need some company with you?"

"Sure! Meet me at the mall, I'm leaving now."

"Oh ok. See ya there Em!"

"Bye! Love you!"

"Love you too!"

*end of call*

By time I hung up I was outside my car, digging in my purse to find my keys. I finally found them, and unlocked the car. I hopped in and started the car. I carefully backed up out of the parking space and into the road. I drove to the highway and there wasn't any traffic, so I arrived there in no time. I parked my car and stood by the entrance, waiting for Niall. BUZZ. That's my phone. I pulled it out and looked at the lock screen.

Within a few minutes I saw Niall pulling into the spot next to mine, focusing on every second of it. He parked the car and I saw him put on his ray bans, put a beanie over his head, tucking in all his hair and when he was done he climbed out, locked his car and jogged over to the entrance, where I was. He kissed me on the forehead. "Hello beautiful!" He exclaimed. "Your not looking too bad yourself Horan!" He intertwined his fingers with mine and we walked into the mall. "Hey, do you need any new clothes?" He asked me "Hm?" I said. I was too focused on the mannequins in the window of the store 'Ballroom'. They had the most expensive clothes in the whole entire mall. "I'm sorry I was looking at that store" I pointed to the store. "I think you should meet my parents." He said. "Uhh-" "Lets get you some new clothes at that store you were looking at and we will take it from there." "But Niall, the clothes there are sooo expensive!" I complained. "Nothing's to expensive for my baby" Awww. I blushed and pulled his towards the store.

"How about this one?" I pulled open the curtain so Niall could see my dress. It was gorgeous. It was a dress that went to about my knees in the front at the middle of my calves in the back. It was my favorite color, purple and it was a V-Neck. It had gems all along the collar and there was a lot at the top, but the gems were kind of ombré towards the waistline. It fit me perfectly. Niall's jaw dropped. "Get that one, its my favorite." He said. "Good because its the last one in there." I giggled. I walked back into the dressing room, carefully took off the dress and put it on the hanger. Then I put back on my clothes and opened the curtain. I handed Niall the dress and folded up the rest of the dresses. I put them in a neat pile and walked out. "TO THE SHOES!" I exclaimed and pointed to the shoes. I ran over and Niall followed, but he was walking. I sat on the bench, and slipped off my shoe so I could measure it. Niall put the dress down beside me and decided to stand. I lined up my heal to the end and my toes to the line. 8 1/2. I walked up and down the isles, looking for the perfect pair. When I got to the end I found this perfect pair of glittery pumps. The heal wasn't too high, so the shoes were perfect. I scanned the shelves under the shoe and found the box that said 8 1/2. The last pair of the size. I scoffed them up and ran back over to the bench. "Did ya find something ya liked dear?" "Why yes, yes I did thanks for asking!" I opened the box and pulled on the pumps. Niall looked amazed. "How do you walk in those? Do they hurt yer' feet?" He asked. "No once you get used to them. They are hard to walk in at first. I remember the first time I wore them I tried to walk down the stairs, not holding onto the rail and I tumbled down and I landed in the hospital for a few days!" We both fell into a laughing fit and we were so loud the cashier had to come and shush us! I walked around a bit, pulling poses in the tall mirror. I walked over to the smaller mirrors for your feet and spun around in them, not taking my eyes off of the reflection. I loved them. "I'm getting them!" I exclaimed and received a shush from Niall. I carefully placed them back in the box and picked them up, along with the dress. I placed them on the counter, the greeted the nice cashier.

"Your total is, 592.49 please. Cash or card?" Niall held out his card. "Card please" "Credit or Debit?" "Credit"

"Niall do you like this one?" I unscrewed the cap and handed it to Niall. He sniffed it. "Hmm I don't know......." I screwed back on the cap and threw it in my basket. I loved the smell. 'Wild Peach Poppies' I walked over to the men's section and picked out a few for Niall and when we were done we had a mixture of Body Lotion, Shower Gel, Body Spray, Hand Sanitizer, Hand Soap, Wall Flower refills and many more. Why did BBW have to have so many good deals? I walked over to the registers, and placed the basket in the counter. The man scanned our items. "Your total is 79.31"

"You really think your parents will like me?" "Alex," Niall turned to face me. "If they love me, they will respect that I pick a girl who isn't famous for her talents. Who isn't famous at all. They will respect that I choose you over who management tells me to choose. I'm probably supposed to be hanging out with this model right now, but I choose to be with you."He said "Niall that made no sence, my name isnt even Alex!" "That was a line from one of my favorite movies!" he replied and that sent us into a fit of giggles. We were now home, snuggled on the couch under a blanket. "Ok......" We snuggled together for a while until the doorbell rang. I hope it isn't anyone important, because I'm in my PJs and my hair is In a messy top knot "COMING!" I yelled and got up, making my way over to the door. I opened it to see my lovely mail lady, Abigail. "Hello Abigail, what can I do for you today?" "Well, I have this package for you, and because I was here, I bundled your mail up with a rubber band." "Aww thanks Abigail! Do you need anything to drink or to eat?" "I hate to ask, but can I have some water? I'm so tired and maybe it will wake me up." I grabbed a cold bottle of water from the fridge and gave it to Abigail. We did a switcheroo. She handed me the mail, I handed her the water. We waved and I shut the door. I placed the mail on the table while I went to the cupboard to get the scissors. I tore open the package to reveal a peice of paper. It read

"Emily. We are so proud of you for making it this far. We decided to send you a house warming present, to cheer up the place a bit.

With love,

Mom & Kayla"

I lifted up the paper to reveal some candles, a bed spread, some small frames and a foldable hamper. My mom knows what to get me. At the bottom of the box I noticed a small envelope. I picked it up and on the front it read Emily. I heard Niall coming up behind me but I was focused on the small envelope. I grabbed my letter opener off of the table and tore open the envelope. Inside was a gift card to the 1D world and inside the envelope was "enjoy! love Kayla"
