Camila...

Zoovier's schedule for the day was empty so he decided to spend the whole day with me and Zoelle.

"You're cute in your little footie pajamas." I spoke to Zo'.

She laid down on the ground and continued to giggle as she kicked her feet and waved her arms around.

"Mom-my!" Zoelle yelled.

"Okay, kiddo. It's time for bed." I groaned as I got up from my spot on my bed.

"Aw, mommy. I not sleepy!" Zo' covered her mouth to laugh uncontrollably.

"Uh, no ma'am. I've already made the mistake of letting you stay up thirty minutes later than your usual bedtime." I explained.

Then, I leaned over to pick my energetic daughter up off of the floor.

"I want to go home with daddy tonight." Zoelle expressed. She wrapped her arms around my neck and smiled widely.

"Eh," I shook my head no. "Daddy's been around lately but he hasn't been around. He doesn't know how to take care of you properly– in my opinion." I truthfully spoke.

I see that Fetty is seriously trying in both his relationship with our daughter and our newly rekindled relationship as well.

But, he's only been around for about a month and I don't think he's able to take care of Zoelle by himself right now.

He's been doing him for forever and he's never had to worry about a daughter to take care of. It's sad to say that this is all brand new to him.

"What?" Zoelle scrunched her face up at me. She didn't understand what I'd just told her.

"Long story short– no. You can't go home with daddy because he can't take care of you like mommy can." I placed a kiss on her cheek.

She laid her head down on my shoulder and yawned. "Okay."

"What the fuck that supposed ta' mean?" Fetty chuckled.

I shook my head at his question. I walked down the hallway with Zoovier right behind me to tuck Zoelle in for the night.

I pulled her blankets over her and she snuggled up with her favorite teddy bear. "Nite-nite mommy. Goodnight daddy." She cheekily smiled.

"Goodnight, baby." I smiled before kissing her on the cheek.

"Goodnight, Zo'." Fetty placed a kiss on her forehead and moved a curl out of her face. "I'a see you tomorrow if I can, okay?"

"Otay."

I cut on her nightlight for her and then we stepped out, cutting off the light and slightly closing the door behind the two of us.

Fetty exhaled. "I don't see why ma' daughta' jus' can't come wit' me."

"Because you haven't been–"

"Around long enough, yeah. Throw it in ma' face fa' me one more time, babe." He sarcastically muttered.

"Don't get mad at me because you decided on what you wanted to do–"

"You'on gotta' be throwin' da' shit around tho'!" He snapped.

"Oh, so I guess you mad now?" I followed him to my bedroom. "Okay, Zoo. Get in your feelings." I muttered. "I'm just saying, damn."

He grabbed all of his things and prepared to storm out of the house when I spoke, "Can't handle the truth can you?"

This is the exact reason why I was a bit hesitant on getting back together with Zoovier.

I'm not going to sit here and act like our relationship was all 'I love you's when we were arguing about fifty percent of the time.

That may be a factor as to why he decided to leave me high and dry.

So, a part of me was excited when I went to the doctor for my pregnancy test and found out that my hormones were all over the place because of stress.

I'm not pregnant.

So now we didn't feel like we had to be in a relationship because of a baby, but because we loved each other and wanted to work things out for Zo'.

By now, we'd walked to the front of the house and Zoovier was getting ready to leave.

"Yeah, go ahead and leave," I crossed my arms across my chest and stared him down. "Just like you did a couple of years ago."

He evilly glared at me before placing his hand onto the door knob of the front door. "Man, fuck you." He grumbled.

"I can't fuckin' stand yo' ass and I'm glad I ain't fuck up and get you pregnant again." He waved me off.

"You ain't nothin' but a bum ass nigga. Why'd you leave us behind?" I found myself getting emotional. "I hate you!" I yelled.

He grabbed me by my arm, slamming me up against the wall. "Say that shit again." He threatened through gritted teeth.

I stared at him with annoyance and lust written all over my face.

No matter how much I thought about how wrong he did me and his daughter, I couldn't bring myself to hate him. I love him.

But would I be ready for these arguments all over again, 24/7?

I thought everything was going good, but my old thoughts are still lingering around in the back of my mind.

I need to sit down and talk to Zoo about this stuff before we do anything else. It's what's right.

I heavily sighed and pushed him off of me. "Move." I mumbled as I walked away from him.

He ran a hand through his dreads. "Camila." He called my name.

I glared across the room at him.

"Mila, I'm sorry. Aight?"

"Okay, Zoo." I unlocked the front door for him. Then I held it open and motioned for him to leave. "I'll talk to you tomorrow."

He picked his phone up off of the floor beside him and shook his head. "Aight, Mila."

He wrapped his arms around me for a hug before kissing me on the side of my face. "I love you." He mumbled in the crook of my neck.

I held onto him for a while before mumbling, "I love you too, Zoo. We gone fix this shit."
