-Two months later...
Camila...
"Zoovie," I called out as I walked down the stairs of his house.
"Yeah babe?" He answered.
Zoelle and I started to come over to his house more frequently. You might as well say that we should move in.
But I don't feel that way as of yet.
"Can you watch over Zo' for a minute? I gotta do something real quick." I informed him.
He nodded his head and waved me off. "I got her."
I went upstairs to the bathroom in his bedroom and pulled a pregnancy test from the back of the cabinet.
I hid it there so Zoovier wouldn't have been able to find it.
"How the fuck did I let myself get in this predicament?" I whined as I paced the floors of the bathroom.
I slowly took the pregnancy test out of its box.
Then I examined it before looking up at the ceiling. "Ooh, I really don't want to do this." I groaned.
I did what I had to do and washed my hands.
I carefully put the pregnancy test back into the box, placing it in the cabinet again just in case Zoo decided to come in here.
"Camila!" I could hear Zoovier shouting. I heard his heavy footsteps running down the hall towards the bedroom.
I hurriedly stepped out of the bathroom and closed the door behind me.
He was holding our daughter, Zoelle, in his arms and he didn't have a good look on his face.
He looked worried.
"Zoo, wha–" I stopped when I heard her wheezing and shortness of breath. "Zo!" I shrieked.
I stepped closer to her to examine her. She was showing signs of anaphylaxis, which are the symptoms of a life threatening allergy.
Zoelle's life threatening allergy happened to be to walnuts.
"What the fuck did you do, Zoovier?!" I screamed. "Zo, can you tell mommy what's wrong?" I moved a piece of hair out of my face.
She shook her head no as she struggled to breathe. "I can't....breathe...." She managed to say while hugging onto Zoovier.
"What. Did. You. Do?" I repeated. It was more so in a begging tone.
"I don't know!" He snapped. "I was jus' eatin' some cookies and she wanted one. So I gave it ta' her and this started happening."
"Walnuts." I simply stated. "She's allergic to fucking walnuts." I muttered as I walked towards the bathroom.
I pulled open the drawer to grab Zoelle's EpiPen. It's a small needle that would be injected into her thigh to cease her severe allergy symptoms.
I've only had to use it one other time, and it was when Zoelle got into my trail mix that had ironically some walnuts in it instead of peanuts.
"Hold her still." I muttered to Zoo.
"Yo, what is that?" He questioned.
"A needle that'll keep our child from dying." I blandly responded to his question as I moved her shorts out of the way.
It breaks my heart to do this because I know she'll be crying afterwards. I hate to see ZoZo cry.
"1, 2–" I quickly stuck the needle into her upper thigh for a while.
She looked down at me while I took the needle out and placed the cap back on. "It's okay, baby." I cooed to her as I rubbed her thigh.
Her bottom lip trembled once I got up to put some shoes on. A tear managed to slide down her cheek but I could tell that she was trying to be a big girl.
"You do know that we have to take her to be hospital, right?"
"Alright." Zoovier kissed Zoelle's cheek.
Once we reached the hospital, the doctors immediately started to care for her allergy.
But, they needed for us to step outside of the room for a minute and I didn't like it one bit.
"I know my baby's scared in there by herself. I wish I could be there holding her hand." I mumbled.
Zoo threw his arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer to him.
He kissed the side of my face and lowly said, "I'm sorry, Mila."
"You didn't know Zoo." I sighed.
"It's still ma' fault."
"You right." I wiped away my tears.
"Damn," He laughed and helped me wipe my tears off of my face. "It's like 'dat?"
"Yeah, it's like that." I cracked a little smile.
"Camila Campos, the mother of Zoelle Maxwell?" The doctor called out as he walked out of the room with nurses trailing behind him.
"That's me!" I practically rushed up to him. "Is our daughter going to be okay?" I pulled Zoovier up next to me.
"She's fine. We got her breathing under control and the swelling in her throat went down. We just need for her to stay the night so that we can make sure it'll stay that way." He explained.
"Thank you. We appreciate it." Zoo spoke before the doctor shook his hand.
"No problem. I'll be back in a bit to check on little Zoelle." He nodded before leaving.
"Mommy, daddy!" Zoelle cheered with a cheeky smile on her face.
The staff had given her a popsicle and I'm glad a majority of it hadn't gotten on her gown.
"Aw, mommy's baby..." I spoke. I walked over to the side of the hospital bed to give her a hug. "I'm so sorry daddy tried to kill you."
"Camila." Zoovier sternly said before clearing his throat. He closed the door behind him, walking over to us. "I didn't try ta' kill ya', baby." He evilly glared at me.
"My bad." I chuckled.
"Yea', your bad." He scoffed. "So what you wanna do when you get out of hea', Zovie?" Zoo asked her.
"Zovie? I swear, each nickname gets closer and closer to your name, Zoovier." I pointed out before I shook my head at him.
Zoelle looked over at me and then looked back at him. "I want ice cream."
"But you eatin' some right na'." He laughed.
"Duh," She groaned and looked up at the ceiling with attitude in her voice. "I want more."
"Well okay, me and mommy will take you ta' get all the ice cream you want." Zoovier responded, holding back his laughter.

Fraudulence.
RandomHe grabbed all of his things and prepared to storm out of the house when I spoke, "Can't handle the truth can you?" "Yeah, go ahead and leave," I crossed my arms across my chest and stared him down. "Just like you did a couple of years ago." He evi...
