Camila...

"What's wrong, best friend?" Brianna asked as I packed me an overnight bag.

"I was just thinking about stuff." I admitted.

"About what?" Her nosey ass questioned.

"Just something that happened last night." I shrugged the situation off.

I looked up from my duffel bag to see Zoelle jumping in my bed. "Get down, Zo'." I demanded.

"Before you bus' yo' ass." Brianna added with a head nod. She placed her hand on her hip and turned back to me. "Man, you better tell me happened yesterday."

"Me and Zoovier got into a lil' argument yesterday and my feelings kind of came unsurfaced." I shrugged. "It made me think about if getting into a relationship would be right."

"Girl, shut up." Brianna smacked her lips. "Y'all just need to sit down and talk, honestly. Put everything out on the table and don't hold back anything you feelin'. If Zoo can't handle what you got to say to him, he ain't worth a second chance."

I exhaled with my hand placed on my chest. "I'm glad you came over today." I chuckled.

"I know you are." She boasted.

Then she picked up Zoelle's little backpack full of the things she wanted to bring with her and sat it on the bed.

"Where y'all getting ready to go off to?" Brianna asked me.

I went through Zo's backpack to make sure I packed everything she needed.

I would hate to leave something behind and have to drive all the way back home.

"Zoo wants us to spend the night at his house." I simply responded to Brianna. "You know, for Zoelle."

"Mhmm, for Zo'." She placed her tongue on the inside of her cheek. "Can I ask you something real quick?"

I pushed a piece of my hair behind my ear. "Go for it."

I continued to shuffle through my daughter's bag, occasionally looking up at her as she watched cartoons.

"If Zoovier asked you to marry him– what would you say?"

My head immediately rotated to her and I squinted my eyes at her.

"Don't start playin' with me. It's too damn early in our relationship and you be on some psychic shit!" I snapped.

It's true. I remember when Brianna predicted that I was pregnant– and I was. It was so weird that I was kind of scared to be around Bri for a minute.

-Three years ago

Brianna and Camila decided to go over to Zoovier's apartment for the day.

Camila sat on Zoo's lap while he counted money.

He just sat back and stared at it for a minute before placing a band around it.

Camila wrapped her around his neck and kissed on his cheek. "Mm, I love you Zoovie."

Zoovier slowly rubbed on her booty. "Love you too, Mila." He had a huge smile on his face.

"Ugh, see this is why I don't go anywhere with you Mila!" Brianna complained. "You always got me third-wheelin', with y'all cute ass." She mumbled as she crossed her arms.

"We can hit the club and find you a nigga." Camila laughed.

"You wouldn't even be able to drink with me." Bri poked her bottom lip out. "You pregnant."

Zoovier looked at Camila upside her head. "You got sum' you wanna tell me?" He raised his eyebrow at his girlfriend.

"Nah, because I'm not pregna– Bri, stop playing!" Camila smacked her lips.

"I'm not playing. I feeeeel it." Brianna giggled with her hands smacking down on her thick thighs.

Believe it or not, about a month later Camila went to the doctor for a checkup.

The doctors found out that she was indeed about two months pregnant.

.....

-Present time

"Don't bring that mess around here. We've only officially been together for like a week and you're already predicting marriage." I handed Zoelle her backpack. "We not stable enough for that."

Brianna held her hands up in defense. "I didn't say I predicted it. I was just asking on what your response would be."

"Um, I guess I would have to say maybe." I shrugged it off. "Because as I said before; The relationship isn't stable enough."

"Mommyyyyy!" Zoelle groaned as she laid back on my bed. "Can we go to daddy's house now?"

"We're getting ready to go just about now. Give mommy a minute, baby." I replied.

"Otay." She jumped down from the bed.

.....

I held Zoelle on my hip since she wanted to be lazy for the moment.

I rang the doorbell to Zoovier's front door, waiting out in this cold weather for him to hurry the fuck up and open up.

I heard the locks clicking and soon the door opened for us to be greeted by him.

"I should shoot you." I mumbled to him. "Got me and my baby out in this cold weather."

"Daddy!" Zoelle cheered as she reached for him.

"Zo'!" He laughed while taking her away from me. He placed a kiss on her cheek and closed the front door behind me.

"This is nice." I glanced around the house.

The staircase was pretty, but I could already smell the weed.

"My nigga, did you smoke before we got here?" I laughed.

"Maybe." He lazily laughed at my question. He started to walk up the stairs with Zoelle and I walked behind him with our things.

This is going to be an interesting night.
