Camila...

"You been cryin'?" Brianna asked me as she walked into the house. She unlocked the front door with her spare key.

"No." I lied as I took Zoelle's empty plate away from her. I put it into the sink and turned to face my best friend.

Knowing that Zoelle would tell her the truth, Brianna turned to her and asked, "Baby, was your mommy crying?"

Zo' looked up at me and bit down nervously on her bottom lip. "Uh huh, mommy was crying on the phone."

Brianna scrunched her eyebrows up.

She picked Zoelle up from her spot at the dining table and placed her on her hip.

"Camila, I'm taking my niece with me for a while. Is there something you want to tell me before we go?" Brianna gave me a look.

I took a deep breath. "...Zoovier's coming over to talk. I don't think I want to be in a relationship."

"Aw, Mila come on. I thought–"

"We all thought." I scoffed with a small chuckle. "But it's whatever. Just call me when you're on your way back."

She rolled her eyes at me. I could hear her mumble, "Her and Zoo about to have makeup sex on that damn dining table."

I gasped at her statement before she left the kitchen.

.....

Omniscient...

Zoelle had been gone with Brianna for about thirty minutes so as soon as they left, she got started on a blunt because her nerves were getting the best of her.

Even though it was around 11 something in the morning, Camilla started to doze off while sitting on the couch.

But, the doorbell ringing woke her up out of her small nap.

She wrapped her small blanket around her petite body, then made her way over to the front door.

Opening it, Zoovier's face was revealed.

"Hey." She simply spoke, yawning shortly afterwards. "What are you doing here?"

"I came ta' talk, rememba'?" He raised his eyebrow at her. "Did I wake you up or somethin'?" He asked.

"Oh no, no. You're fine." She perked up while moving to the side to let him in. "Come in."

He got comfortable on the couch and patted on the empty space next to him. "Is you gone come sit down, Mila?"

"Oh yeah." She nervously muttered. She was so nervous on what was about to go down during this discussion.

She just hoped it didn't end with her feelings hurt and her crying on his shoulder.

"I just want to get this out of the way." Camila held her hands up once she sat down.

Fetty stared at his phone screen before exhaling. "I'm not even gone lie. The way I handled shit was fucked up." He finally admitted.

Camila felt herself getting emotional. All these years she had been waiting for an explanation and here she is about to get one.

She sniffled while wiping away any tears that managed to slip out. "I'm sorry. Just keep talkin'."

"Mila, I'm sorry." Zoovier started to feel bad about himself. "I feel fuckin' horrible."

"You should." Mila thought to herself.

"But I got caught up in the lavish lifestyle and...." He ran a hand down the side of his face. "I started fuckin' bitches and enjoyin' myself a lil' bit too much."

"Basically, you cheated on me and you couldn't face me?" Camila wiped her tears and looked up at Zoo. "Our daughter had to suffer for this shit, Wap!"

"Nah," He stopped to look into her eyes. "Fuck... I guess so. But baby, I'm sorry. I showed up to make shit right between us. And I ain't want my daughta' to grow up without her daddy. I know how you grew up without yours." He pointed out.

All Camila could do was nod her head. "Okay." She simply replied. "You can go now." She motioned towards the front door.

"You mad, Mila? Come on man." Zoovier pleaded. "Stop cryin'." He wrapped his arms around her for a hug.

"After everything I did for you..." Camila covered her face with her hands and cried harder. "Wap, I knew you were cheating on me. It just hurts to hear it actually come from you."

"I'm probably an ass fa' this, but I jus' wanted to enjoy my life without havin' to be tied down with a girl and a baby."

She ceased her crying and slowly moved her hands away from her face.

Camila raised her hand to slap the hell out of Zoovier, but for some reason she stopped herself. "Okay." She cleared her throat. "You can go. Real talk."

"Aight, so what about us?" He questioned as he stood up from the couch.

Camila laughed lowly to herself and opened the front door for him.

"Boo, there is no us. So you don't have to be tied down by me or Zo'. Go out and enjoy yourself."

"I ain't mean it like tha–"

"Zoo, I've done some thinking about this. It really stressed me the fuck out. But I don't want to be in a relationship with you." Camila leaned up against the door frame.

"We can be cordial or even friends for the sake of my baby girl, but I don't want to get into another relationship with you."

"Alright, Mila." Zoovier sighed. "Jus' know I love you, Camila. Don't forget it."

"Aw Zoo," Camila's face softened. "I'll always have that love for you. It's always here." She placed a hand on her chest. "But us being together is like poison for each other. It ain't good– at all."

He pulled her in for a hug before leaving.

For some reason, it felt like he'd be gone for another couple of years to Camila.

She trudged upstairs so that she could cry herself back to sleep. She felt like a huge weight had been lifted off of her, but then again it felt like her heart had been ripped out.

But, it's what needed to be done. And it's over with.
