She left...with my heart

            On my first day at college i met a girl named yoon he-ra. She was a perfect replica of me. She scored second position in university entrance exam. We became friends easily. Hani came to my class making excuse saying she came to see my class. I knew she came to see me. I smiled inside my mind. When she saw he-ra her eyes were flickering with amusement. I knew what she was thinking, she feels insecured when she sees someone more beautiful than her.
    
       When i reached home, Hani was waiting on stairs to ask me about he-ra. When i told her he-ra is our age, and furthermore, she’s at the top of our class, like me. I sensed Ha-ni trying not to feel intimidated, and stammers a denial when i asks if she’s jealous. I can read Ha-ni like an open book and decided to have a little fun. I said a little jealousy isn’t out of the question, given that we did kiss. I leaned in close, making Ha-ni close her eyes and wonder if this is going to be a Kiss … I know im a  bit cruel towards Hani. But this is the first time im getting so much fun in my life. When Hani is in front of me i cant help, but make fun of her and tease her. Its kind of fun.

        When i was passing through corridor i saw Hani and her friends chatting. They were about to have lunch together, but the other two ditched her saying they have another plan. I saw Hani trying to send me text messages but was unable to send one because she was afraid about my reply... Natural. I went behind her without she noticing my presence. I wanted to give her a company for the lunch. But that idiot guy jun-gu made my mood spoiled. So i went to my friends and had food with them.

      Hani used to spy me around while we were at college. I wondered what is she upto now. One day Kyung-soo sunbae (senior) of tennis club came to me and asked to join them. Even though i was not intrested and resisted to join, he forced me to join them. I spotted hani behind me. She was curious to know about my club. I purposefully didnt tell her because i dont wanted her to get hurt. I knew she will follow me to join the club even though she doesnt know how to hold racket properly. Thats why i fooled her on the way to club room. But she found me and joined the club.

       At our first practice section, Hani said kyung-soo sunbae was kind hearted. But when she saw him transforming into a fearsome drill sergeant the moment he gets on the court her face turned white. He tests the members’ proficiency levels one by one, barking orders and delivering fierce serves that can’t be returned. Hani became more nervous. Sunbae was furious when he saw me. But as always i excelled and that made him more angrier. Hani was next in line and sanbae knock her down with one strike bleeding her nose. Poor hani...

     Everyone found me and he-ra alike because our point of view was same. Hani was following me around college. She took english classes only to stay by my side. He-ra and me was assigned with a group work. I took he-ra to my house so that we coukd work on it. Hani was standing by the door to welcome me. Her face changed when she saw he-ra. I told eun-jo not to disturb us because we have to do group assignments, it was actually to inform Hani not to doubt on my intentions.

        Eun-jo told me that Hani is moving out and he is happy that he can use his own room now. I went to ask hani about this and she confirmed it. I was kind of depressed about her decision, but never showed it. When she left home with her father, she took my heart along with her. I kept thinking about her. My rational self was melting bit by bit.
