Misunderstandings...

Sung-jo's POV

Hani has really grown up with time. She got more matured and adapted with our life and job. She had changed into a workaholic lately, may be to overcome my absence in her life. Until now we were away from each other, but even after we are sleeping on same bed there is an imaginary wall in between us.

I think I should do something about this growing awkwardness between us. I should make her happy and compensate for her patience. I was eagerly waiting for hani to arrive from hospital. She came back home tired of work.

Hani went inside bathroom to take shower and I was eagerly waiting for her outside. She came out wearing her bathrobe and went near dressing table to dry up her hair. Hani always had a mesmerizing power to attract me towards her. I went near her and hugged her tightly..."hani I missed you so much... I know you missed me too..." I said.

When I turned her around to see her face, I noticed her tears. "Sung-jo, I missed you like hell. To overcome that I was working without a break and now I have changed into a workaholic" she started sobbing.

"Shh...hani... calm down. I'm here with you now" I said kissing her cheeks then her lips and took her to our bed. After a long time we were together in each others hands. For the first time, we made love without any restrictions and limitation...

By last few weeks she had grown closer to Dr. Kim young-joon. They are behaving like childhood friends and I don't like she being so close with him. How ever he keeps insisting that we haven't met each other before, but I'm positive that I have seen him before.

"Hani... Are you not having breakfast? Lets go together" I told her as she was about to go out. "No sung-jo, you have food. I'm late...I should go by now" she was about to go "I will come with you" I stopped her and took car keys before I went out.

When we reached hospital Min-ah was waiting there along with her boyfriend to meet hani. "Hani...what happened to you? You don't look well" Min-ah said. That when I noticed hani. She was looking tired and anaemic.

"No Min-ah...I'm good. Its just...I'm tired because of hectic working hours" hani said. "Hani...sung-jo...we were planning to come to your home. But when I called, your mom said you guys will be already at hospital. So we came here..."Min-ah said.

"What's so urgent Min-ah??" Hani asked curiously. "We are getting married... Next week. You guys should come" she said pulling out an invitation card from her bag and handing it over to us. "Oh...congrats dear" hani said hugging her. They spend some time along with us... I wonder why hani looks so tired.

"Hani...are you really OK?" I asked her on the way home. "Yea, I'm ok... why???" She asked with a curious eyes. "No...nothing... I was wondering whether... You..." I was interrupted by a phone call. "Hello...Dr. Kim... No I'm not there. I'm on the way back home. Why? Is it urgent... Shall I tell Min-jun to come and help? Oh... right... Yea no problem I will be there. Sung-jo... Stop the car" she said.

"Sung-jo I should go back. Dr. Park needs help with some charts. He told me to do some works for tomorrow...but now he urgently needs those charts. I should go back" she said and went back to hospital.

Aishh...I don't like this friendship. Its going overboard. Why he always keeps calling hani as if there is no other nurse there. I was planing to take her our for a dinner and I couldn't even ask her if she was...is it because of that she is looking tired.

Hani was really close to Dr. Kim and they were like good friends. Every time they were together. Hani was like Dr. Kim's personal nurse. He always kept her by side and she never complained.

Hani was walking with Dr. Kim towards ward along with other nurses. But Dr. Kim was only talking to hani. Sung-jo along with his group crossed them and sung-jo tried calling hani. But she left without noticing him.

'Hani...you have changed a lot. You told me you want to become a nurse only to help me and work with me. But now you are behaving differently. And moreover she is always with that idiot. They looks like lovers or friends more than colleagues and I'm not liking it' sung-jo thought as he went to children's ward.

After one week -sung-Jo's POV

"Sung-jo where is hani? She didn't came home last day. Is she still at hospital?" Mom asked me. "I'm not sure mom. I will enquire and will inform you" I told her. I was tensed about hani. "She was off duty yesterday and today she took leave" jae-kyung informed me.

'She had a night duty day before yesterday and she was off yesterday and leave today. If she is not at home then where is she?' I was getting more tensed now. I should ask someone else, may be min-jun. He had same shift as hani.

"Sung-jo...hani is most probably at Dr. Kim's house. He was not well last day and got admitted. There was no one to take Care of him. So yesterday me and hani was taking care of him. Today morning he got discharged and she took him home" min-jun informed me.

I asked for Dr. Kim's address and went to his house. 'If she had to do this, she should have informed me or mom. Why did she went with him to his house' I thought as I went parked my car in front of Dr. Kim's house.

When I rang calling bell a servant came out and opened the door. He said Dr. Kim is in his room and showed me his room. When I opened the door, I saw hani lying by his bed's side and he was sleeping on the bed. "Hani... " I called her. "Aahhh.... Dr. Sung-jo, I'm sorry because of me hani had to stay by my side" he told me with a tired voice.

"Sung-jo... I was about to call you. But I lost my phone and when I came over here...I slept because I was tired. I'm sorry" hani said. "Its ok hani..let's go home. Mom is really worried about you. Dr. Kim I hope you are fine now. Shall I take my wife along with me?" I said with a sarcastic tune.

"Yeah...of course. I already told hani to go home and rest. But my condition was really bad. Its kind of viral fever. Hani I'm ok now, and my servant is here. He will take care of me" he told us.

I was fuming in anger while we were on the way home. She was always by his side. She didn't informed me and she was sleeping next to his bed when I reached there. How can she be so...irresponsible...???
