A new starting...

Sung-jo's POV

           Making hani angry and mocking her...its like my hobby now...when I said she is the worst thing I have ever come across during my life span, she started behaving like a kid. And I love to see her like that. She increased her pace...and walk past the street towards signal. She looked back at me and was crossing the road.

          Suddenly she stopped in the middle of road and was not moving. She started rubbing her eyes. I saw red light turning green and vehicles started rushing towards her. "Hani... Move..." I called out and run towards her.

       I pushed her aside... but something hit me hard and I fell on the ground. I felt pain all over my body and saw legs running towards me. I felt something oozing from me...and I knew it was my blood... I saw hani at a distance and my eyes blacked out...

Hani's POV

            When I regained my consciousness I saw a crowd at a distance. I stood up and walked towards the crowd. I saw sung-jo in a pool of blood. "Sung-jo... What happened... Wake up" I ran towards him and hugged him. "Somebody call ambulance" I cried out loudly.

Hospital- hani's POV

          I was waiting outside the operation room and its been 3 hours. "How's sung-jo... What happened?" Mom dad and eun-jo came running towards me. "He is alright now...don't worry... He don't have any life threating wounds... There is a wound in his forehead, and some scratches here and there...but he broke his left leg...so won't be able to walk for 2 weeks" Dr. Came out from O.T and said. I sighed a relief "mom...I was really scared...I thought I was going to loose him" I hugged mom and said.

           "Sorry hani...you have to go through this alone all this time. We were late...flight delayed... Sorry" dad said. "Its ok dad...I'm alright... I'm just worried about sung-jo" I told him. "Hani...you have wounds in your elbow. Come we will get it nursed" mom told me and we went towards nurses room.

After 2 weeks

            "Hani...why are you here again? Are you on a leave? No...you are wearing uniform... Am I the only patient here...be responsible haniii..." Sung-jo fumed in anger. "Dr. Sung-jo... You can't harass your nurse like that...I'm currently in charge for taking care of you..." Hani said with a puppy face.

           "Sung-jo... Are you alright staying in this double room. Even though now there is no one here. It is possible that there may be a new admission. There was an accident case yesterday evening. They may be shifting soon from emergency room to ward. Are you ok with that? You always feel uncomfortable with crowd right?" She asked with a concerned face.

            "I'm ok...you are the one who is disturbing me" he said with an annoying face. "Sister hani...please move aside..." Another sister said who was accompanying a stretcher with a girl in it. "Oh...she is the one from yesterday" hani said to sung-jo.

             "Ah...that's her father" she pointed her fingers at a man standing in the corner crying. "I know him...I have seen him before" sung-jo said. "Hey... jea-yul. How come you are here. Its been a long time" sung-jo's dad entered with a surprised look. "Sung-jo...don't you remember him. He was our neighbour and you used to play with his daughter. By the way were is yun-jea..." Sung-jo's dad asked.

            "Hyung...my daughter... She was in an accident yesterday and there, She is still unconscious I don't know what to do...after my wife's death she is the only one left for me... My only hope" jea-yul said with tears in his eyes.
              "How did all these happened?" Sung-jo's dad asked. "She actually went out with her boyfriend and he turned out to be a cheat...they fought and while she was crossing the road accident happened. Even though injuries were minor she is still unconscious" jae-yul started crying...

             "She will be alright... Come here...have some water... Hani give him something to drink" sung-jo's dad said. "Hyung is that your son... Sung-jo... He grew up to become a handsome man...what is he doing now?" Jea-yul said taking glass of water from hani.

            "He is working here as a doctor and 2 weeks ago he had an accident and fractured his leg. Ah...I forgot to introduce her. This is hani...sung-jo's wife. She works here as a nurse" sung-jo's dad said.
  
           "Hani...you dumb...you are still standing here. Go and do your duty. I should have married much more intelligent girl than you...you are no good. Its all my mom's fault...making me marry someone like you with zero IQ" sung-jo said with an annoyed face making hani exit with tears in eyes.
           
After 4 hours

              "Jea-yul... I think yun-jea is regaining consciousness..." Sung-jo's dad said. "Yun-jea... My dear are you alright? How are you feeling now? Look who all are here... Look...do you remember them...?" Jea-yul asked. "Ahh...of..course dad...how...ca...can I for..forget my bo...boy...frie...friend. That's min...joon...my love" she stuttered pointing fingers at sung-jo.         

              "What are you saying... Let me call doctor" Jea-yul rushed out. "Doctor see... Something is wrong with my child... She says sung-jo is her boy friend min-joon" Jea-yul entered with doctors. "Let me see..." Doctor said and started observing yun-jea. "Sister take her to MRI scanning room...we need a detailed checkup" he turned towards nurse and said.

After an hour

         "Dr. Sung-jo sorry to call you to my cabin in this condition. We wanted to discuss yun-jea's condition with you and her father" Dr. Said. "What happened doctor... Is there something to worry about" Jea-yul asked with concerned voice. "I will tell you... But before that there is one more person I'm waiting for...Mrs. Hani...come in..." Dr. Said.

            "Dr. Did you call me..." Hani asked with a surprised face after seeing sung-jo and Jea-yul inside doctor's cabin. "After examining yun-jea's case sheet psychiatric head and I came to this conclusion... Everything is absolutely normal. But...it seems like her mental state is not normal after trauma of accident. When I tried to make her remember about her boyfriend and other details...she lost her consciousness" Dr. Said.

            "I think she is also affected by the trauma of her breakup too. She always imagined a perfect life. But when her boyfriend cheated her...she lost control over her mind. Now she imagines things...and assumes its true. Like she sees sung-jo as her boyfriend. Dr. Said puzzling hani who was unaware.

          I think her subconscious mind is forcing her to forget original min-joon's face and it has already replaced by sung-jo's face... So as a doctor... I suggests to keep truth from yun-jea for now. Don't force her...let her take time... Rest is your decision Dr.sung-jo" he said.

           "I don't know what to say... Its hani who should agree with it" sung-jo said. "Hani...my dear child...please...this is about my daughter's life...please" Jea-yul said with tears in eyes. "I...what should i say...I...I'm confused" hani said. "Hani... You are a nurse...you should value someone's life. Psychiatric head said...to which she just nodded her head. "Thanks dear...I won't ever forget your kindness" Jea-yul said.

     "So...Dr. Sung-jo... All the best... Act like a good boyfriend in front of others...and hani... keep your distance from sung-jo" psychiatric head said puzzling sung-jo and hani....who looked at each other in a daze...
