WHEN THIS IS ACTUALLY A NEW CHAPTER TO THE STORY!!!

"Lets burn these kids to the ground."
---------------------------
"Now, I disagree with that," Jamie said, his hands slightly shaking. He and his friends stood in front of Pitch and War, the two most powerful villans that he could think of. His heel dug into the grass and he was slightly intimidated.

War chuckled, "Listen, kid, we don't have time for your childish antics. Now, where the hell is Jack?" Her words spit like venom to Jamie.

A cold wind then blew through the sky. War's arms gave slight goosebumps as her body reacted to the new temperature. Bells wrang in the distance, the sound of wings fluttering was near by, harsh footsteps seemed to shake the ground, and a dreamy sound echoed through the sky.

Pitch growled and stomped his foot on the ground, black dust rising up and forming large hands. The hands then smashed onto the ground, making Jamie and his friends lose their balance. They fell to the ground and tried to get up, but the hands held them there.

Pitch and War turned around, smiling evily as they saw the Guardians. They looked the same, but they looked pissed. After what seemed like months of research, they found out how War came back into the world.

Pitch

He summoned War while Cupid was sleeping and on the security cameras, it showed black dust floating into Cupid and Jack's room and going into Cupid. She then started twisting and turning, obviously having a nightmare.

Jack's fists tightened as he tried not to go punch Pitch right in the face at that moment. North slowly brought out his sword. After doing some research on urban legends of Pitch, he figured out a way to kill him. Permanently. No more coming back from the dead by summoning. No nothing. Dead.

North covered the sword in Fear Fever. May not sound like the thing to make Pitch suffer, but why not kill him with his own fears? That's exactly what North planned.

Tooth charged at Pitch, knocking him off his feet, but he responded by snapping one of her wings. She yelled, but punched him square in the stomach. Sandy then made sand waves and pushed them onto Pitch, making him get knocked off his feet but he stood back up.

War grabbed her staff and hit it on the ground hard, making the ground crack as black knives came up and rushed at the guardians. North dodged them all, but one scraped his arm, which he winced at.

Jack froze the knives and they fell to the ground with a 'ting' and the others used their weapons to shield themselves.

Pitch and Cupid raised their hands and pushed their hands towards the Guardians; black smoke surrounded the Guardians as they tried to fly away. The smoke filled their lungs and it got hard to breathe. North grabbed at his throat as smoke clogged up his lungs.

Tooth's wings couldn't flap anymore and she fell, her skin losing color. Black sand then came and wrapped around Sandman, making him panic and his usually yellow sand turning into black. Bunny coughed and wheezed, having to sit down from the lack of air.

Jack stayed in his place. He didn't know what to do. His wife was out there, torturing her friends and husband. But Jack didn't want to hurt her. He didn't want to risk his wife being in danger, but the Guardians....

Jack sighed and tightened his grip on his staff. He breathed in slowly and pushed his staff against the wall of the black smoke covering them all. He closed his eyes and asked God (a/n: if you're any other religion, you can put your god in place of my God.) to protect and help him.

Jack pushed his staff and his entire body against the wall and pushed, his grip tightening. He then yelled and ice came out of his staff, freezing the smoke surrounding them. He blew on the wall again, giving it an extra layer of ice.

Then, Jack went to the middle of the smoke surrounding the Guardians and him. Meanwhile, War and Pitch were confused on what was happening. But they didn't know Jamie and his friends were behind them. Jamie went up behind Pitch and stabbed him from behind in the stomach.

War turned and tried to attack Jamie, but the other kids strapped her down with a rope that can trap evil spirits that Sandman gave them earlier that day when they were planning on how to take them out. She kicked and screamed and Pitch pushed Jamie off.

Just as Pitch did that, Jack slammed his staff against the bottom of the black smoke blockade and it exploded, sending Jamie, his friends, and Pitch against the ground. The Guardians coughed and started to breathe again.

Jack stomped up to Pitch, grabbing his cloak and pushing him against the wall of a building. He punched Pitch over and over until his fists hurt. He threw Pitch to the ground and spit on him.

North ran over to War who was struggling and kicking her legs. He pushed on her shoulders, keeping her still. He reached in his pocket and pulled out a vile; a recipe to bring Cupid back.

Jack flew over and sat behind War's head.

"Hold her head still and open up her mouth," North said.

Jack nodded and did what he was told. War's black irises looked up at Jack as she glared at him. Her mouth was open and North opened up the vile. The blue, sparkly liquid twinkled and he poured it into War's mouth.

She hissed and struggled against Jack and North, and the other Guardians watched in hope to get Cupid back. She then fainted, but was still breathing.

Jack looked at North, worry in his eyes. "It's working, Jack," North said.

War then began to change. Her black hair went back to her regular (H/C) color. Her pale skin went back to her normal (S/C). Jack and North stepped away as red and white dust began to surround War.

The dust lifted her up and it blinded the Guardians for a few seconds. When the light wasn't as bright, they looked back and saw Cupid. She looked.....like Cupid.

She took in a deep breath and stood on her own. Cupid looked like as she did before Pitch corrupted her. Jack stared at his wife, tears blocking his vision. He let out a cry and ran towards her and Cupid cried too, the couple hugging each other tightly.

The other Guardians had tears, especially Bunnymund. His best friend was finally back to normal and they all ran over and hugged her. Jack buried his face in her neck and she smelled the same; roses that just bloomed.

Cupid held on tightly to Jack and her fingers tangled in his hair. North then stepped away, "How about we head back home?"

Everyone looked towards him and smiled, "Yeah, I'd like that..." Cupid said.

North nodded and threw down the globe, jumping in, along with everyone else.

They finally felt like a normal family. Maybe not entirely normal and only had kids as friends, but as normal as a life a Guardian could have. There may be more trouble in the future, but at least Pitch the Bitch was done for. The Guardians were looking forward to the future and what it would hold for them.

But right now,
They were just happy
To be a family again.

(A/N: Okay I didn't exactly know how to end this story but I thought that quote was a really good way. I really hope you enjoyed this journey we all came on, even though I never kept to my promise of uploading every weekend. Please, if you liked this story, recommend it to others and maybe some ideas for a sequel of this, or if you think this was an excellent way of ending it!)
