They entered the swimming center and sat at the floor. "We got no choice but to stay here", Makoto sighed. "Sorry for dragging you", Nagisa bowed. Aoi rustled with his hair. "Dont apologize. We helped you because we are you friends", Aoi smiled. "But then... Nagisa. You have to talk it over with you Mom and Dad", Aoi said in a serious tone. "It's so easy for you to say that because you're no longer inside the circle of the family", Nagisa stood up and clenched his fist. "This is not about me Nagisa. If you keep on reasoning that you're afraid of your parents... That only means you're not dead serious with swimming", Aoi stood up and lectured. Makoto went in between them. They heard the sound of the car and went deeper inside the swimming center. "They're already here. You have to make up your mind, Nagisa", Rei looked at Nagisa. The footsteps are getting closer. Nagisa stepped forward and said all his feelings. "I have always complied with the rules and regulations you had. Please allow me to atone what I have done....",was his sentiments. Only to find out that it was Ama, their adviser. Ama fetched Nagisa and drove him to his home. The rest were left beside the seashore. "That was a long day!", Aoi yawned. "Thank you for coming. Shall we walk you hom", Makoto bowed. "Dont mind. Matsuoka-san and I will have the same route", Aoi informed. Makoto and the rest separated ways. "Can we stay here for a while?", Aoi asked. Rin sighed and nodded. "Nagisa is really a nice guy", Aoi smiled. They both sat at the flood control. "Say... He made mention about your family", Rin opened. "Ah. Its just a thing I dont want to talk about. By the way, what will you do after graduation?", Aoi asked. "I'll go back to Australia and pursue what I had started", Rin answered. "You really wanted to fulfill your Dad's dream", Aoi stretched. "You're wrong. I'm doing this because it's my dream", Rin clarified. Aoi chuckled. "Right. Then, you'll be leaving them again", Aoi said in a sad voice. "How about you?", Rin asked. Aoi remained silent. "I had always wonder what will I do for the future. But I keep loosing track", Aoi rubbed her nape. "You need a goal in order to move forward", Rin slightly pushed her shoulders.
Raira Academy
The next day at Class 2-1
"We'll be having an evaluation examination for this class. I noticed that some of you are not really serious about school", Veena looked at Aoi. "Me again?", Aoi whispered under her breath. They all looked at each other and nodded. "Those who will fail will be dragged down to the regular classes", Veena announced. They all sighed and some panicked. Veena distributed papers and passed by Aoi. After some time, Isumi went in front and dropped a paper. She went back to her seat. Veena noticed a paper on Aoi's desk. She's currently sleeping because she finished answering the paper. "Miss Kizutani. Would you mind bringing me that paper on your desk?", Veena instructed. Aoi picked it up and gave it to Veena. Upon opening it, they saw a lot of formulas and some important keys. "Miss Kizutani. I was able to bear all the stupid reports you had last year. But this time, cheating is punishable by the school. See me at the principal's office. You havent reviewed your lesson last night didnt you? I saw you at Iwatobi's beach with a guy... How desperate are you to stay at the special class", Veena furrowed her brow and tore the paper in front of her. Aoi looked behind her and saw some students whispering at each other. "Shut up guys. We're having some exam here", Rio diverted the attention. "It wasnt me. I can explain. I was done with my exams when that paper landed on my desk", Aoi explained. "You are telling me that someone just dropped it on you desk?", Veena asked. "Arent you a bit accusive in that manner?", Veena commented. "I'll be taking her to the Principal's office", Rai raised her hands and dragged Aoi outside. "I didnt do it", Aoi removed Rai's hand. "I know. That's why we are going to the Principal to explain that it wasnt you", Rai explained. Aoi gritted her teeth. "Dont worry. I will always trust in you. You taught me how. Its true that my blood was boiling when you appeared again but then... I always believed you had a reason. Calm down and lets talk to the principal", Rai assured. The case was still open and investigations are in the process. For the mean time, Aoi is not allowed to enter the class.
Samezuka Academy.... 7:30 pm. The next day
Rin and Nitori are practicing together. Rin went out of the waters and checked his phone. There were 10 miscalls from Mika. Rin called back...
Rin: Hello, Mika-san. Sorry I wasnt able to pick up the phone.
Mika: I should be the one to apologize. Are you with Aoi? She never went home since last night
Rin: She usually does that even when she was at the dorm.
Mika: I guess so... I just have a bad feeling about it ever since Isumi came here in Japan.
Rin: Isumi?
Mika: Aoi's former friend in Hawai
Rin: Maybe they just wanted to spend a lot of time because they missed each other. Youths...
Mika: I guess so. Thank you for calling.
Mika ended the call. Rin looked at the moon from the glass walls and saw it smilling.
Raira Girl's Dorm.
Rai's Room.
"I cant believe they are still suspicious of Aoi", Rai grunted and slammed the table. "We cannot do anything about it. The evidence is too solid", Inoue sighed. "But who in the world will do that?", Rai looked for words. "Hibiki...Isumi", Inoue answered. "Why would Hibiki do that? Arent they friends?", Rai asked. "Exactly. That is why she wanted to drag Aoi back to their friendship. Just let it go. Aoi can manage to prove herself to the principal", Inoue tried to calm Rai. Rai's phone vibrated.
"Rai, I wanted to go and have some coffee. Aoi said she's too depress to come. Will you join me?", a mail from Isumi. "I'll be going out", Rai informed. "Kizutani told you not to go outside", Inoue grabbed her wrist. "This is something I need to clarify with this jerk. Why is she doing things to hurt her friends?", Rai removed Inoues grip and ran towards the exit. She went outside the gates and found Isumi. "Yo", Isumi waved her hands. They walked around. "I'll show you a similar place that Aoi and I always go back in Hawai", Isumi smirked.
Below the Railways...
Underground Bars.
Rai's heart pounded fast seeing youths like her using drugs and drinking too much liquior. "What are you doing in these places?", Rai asked. "Dont worry. As long as Im here. They wont hurt you. Thats what Aoi always told you,right?", Isumi laughed. Isumi pushed her inside a room where only sofas and a table welcomed her. Rai breathe deeply and looked at Isumi. "Why did you bring me here?", Rai asked. "You trust Aoi?", Isumi got a darts and pointed it to Rai's eyes. She released it and Rai was able to evade. In the process, scratching her cheeks. "I will ask you again. Do you trust her?", Isumi asked. "I trust her. If she was someone like this before. It will only be her right to be accepted of who she is right now", Rai stood firm. "Stop babbling as if you truly knew!!!", Isumi slammed the table. She went near Rai and pulled her hair. "Didnt you know...that...the girl you all admired was...a killer, a pusher, a gang leader. She was a monster who destroyed lives of people", Isumi pulled harder. The door opened and Aoi gave a good punch to Isumi's face making her fall on the ground. "Aoi", Rai called and held into her arms. "You'll be fine. Just stay behind me", Aoi assured and gave a smile. "Dont drag people to our problem, Isumi", Aoi glared at Isumi. The girl recovered and stood up. She took a dagger from the cabinet. "It's that girl's fault that you will not come back to me. Not only hers. Everyone in that classroom must also dies with her", Isumi's aura changed. Rai held tighter on Aoi. The door opened and some of Isumi's gang member entered. "No where to go?", Isumi laughed. After a while, they heard clashing and banging. Kei entered the room. He towered over the rest. They began attacking him at once. The siren of the police alarmed them. "Kei-san", Aoi called out. She pushed Rai at the other end. "Take Rai and go", Aoi gave a smile.
I'm not good with creating an atmosphere for gang wars.
I suppose everyone can imagine one . just think of Durarara....
