Aoi and Rin sat next to the window. They both took their orders. Rin removed his blazer showing a white sando. He threw it to Aoi. "You'll catch cold", Rin looked away. "Oh! You finally had some manners!!!", Aoi said in a loud voice. She faked a wide smile and waved at Rin. Rin grabbed her wrist and looked into her eyes. "Why are you forcing a smile if you dont want to?", Rin asked. "Who said that I'm forcing a smile?", Aoi pouted. Rin sighed and ate the bread they bought. "I heard you were the next captain", Aoi informed. "Yes... Captain Mikoshiba assigned me to take responsibility of what I've done", Rin explained. Aoi slightly pushed her shoulders. "Great! Then I can freely enter your campus", Aoi pointed her chin. "Why do you think so?", Rin asked. "You will tell that it's an official business with a model like me", Aoi winked at Rin. The red head covered his face and cleared his throat. "By the way, thanks for the blazer", Aoi smiled. Rin looked at the blonde in front of her. Her silky hair was spread evenly on her shoulders. Her long curled eyelashes that perfectly fits her dazzling eyes. "Matsuoka-san?", Aoi waved her hands in front of Rin's face. "It's getting late, I'll have to go", Aoi removed Rin's blazer and gave it back. The blonde stood up and stretched. "So long~", Aoi bowed. "I'll walk you home", Rin offered. "I will look lame. Go rest", Aoi waved her hand and she disappeared from Rin's vision.

The Next Day
Samezuka Academy
Rin walked down the stairs and bumped on Nitori. "Ai, we'll be resting for today. There will be no training. The swimming pool will be repaired", Rin informed. "I will also inform the others", Nitori bowed. "You've been practicing a lot", Rin noticed. "I wanted to swim with Rin-senpai. This will be your last year.... I wanted to be in the relay with you", Nitori explained. Nitori bowed and ran away. Rin gave a smile and went at the cafeteria. He sat opposite to Souske. "About the girl you were looking for...were you able to find her?", Souske asked. "We met yesterday. Her issue is hers to deal with", Rin rubbed his nape. "You're right. Setting that aside, prefecture is drawing near", Souske reminded. "Sorry to bring this out. I was able to talk with Kei again. He's Kizutani's friend. I think you heard what happened to him", Rin informed. "That guy stopped swimming and had his life wasted", Souske sighed. "Do you have any idea why he stopped? It's such a waste that he's hiding such talent", Rin clicked his tongue. "People have their own reasons", Souske snapped his fingers. "Whatever reasons it may be, is it enough to stop doing something you love?", Rin asked. Souske's eyes widened and gave a weak smile. "Beats me", Souske answered. The two young men finished eating their lunch and went back to their classroom. "Beetles! Beetles!", Momo shouted at the coridor. "What are you planning to do after high school?", Souske asked. "I'll pursue with my Dad's dream", Rin answered. Souske just nodded and looked outside the windows.

Raira Academy
Class 2-1
"Good afternoon students. Today, we'll be having a transfer student", their class adviser announced. A blonde entered and made the whole class had their hearts jumped. "Class Pres!!!", they all shouted. "Yosh! I'm looking forward for another year", Aoi motioned a fistbumped to all of them. They all responded by raising their hands as well. "I'm new here and I heard a lot from you, Kizutani", Veena, their class adviser had a sarcastic look. "Nice to meet you, Sensei", Aoi greeted and went to the back seat. "Rai will still be the president", Veena looked at Aoi. "Of course, Sensei~", Aoi hummed. After Veena went out of the classroom. The students swarmed Aoi. "We miss you, Class Pres!", they all cried except of Rai and Inoue who was left at their table. "I've got a lot of souvenirs for you guys!", Aoi announced and got a bottle of colorful worms inside. "Are we suppose to be happy?", Misaki raised an eyebrow. "Class Pres! That's ewwy", one commented. "What are you saying? They all look pretty", Aoi protested. They laughed together. "Geez! We thought we'll never see you again", Hino gave a slap on her back. "Welcome back", Hino greeted. "I'm back", Aoi looked at the three of them. Class resumed.

Break at the Garden...
Aoi went to gather some leaves for the worm's food. She passed by their former landscape and saw the withering flowers. She bent down and touched the leaves. The petals withered and taken away by the wind. "There are things that you cannot call as permanent ones", Rai spoke behind Aoi. The Blonde just sighed and gathered leaves. "I know you're quite angry for being absent for quite sometime", Aoi stood up and put the leaves in a plastic bag. "Why didnt you contact us?", Rai slightly raised her voice. "Rai, it's out first time to meet after a long time. Let's make some good memories out of it", Aoi tried to calm the girl. "I'll be going to the faculty. Our adviser needs me", Rai left. "After you went back to Hawai. Rai never missed a day to water those flowers even if its already vacation. She was always worried that it might wither and die. You always love the flowers, didnt you?", a voice made Aoi turn to the voice's direction. "Rio, how are you?", Aoi jumped at her. "I'm in the third Rank. It's amazing that Rai already outran us", Rio said in glee. "That's a good news. Then, keep up the good work", Aoi gave a thumbs up.

Aoi continued walking and saw Inoue. She was about to change route when Inoue looked at her. "How was the heat in Hawai?", Inoue asked. "Still the same as ever", Aoi faked a laugh. "Does it bring back good memories?", Inoue asked again. Aoi's eyes widened and had her smile vanish from her face. "Never mention anything to Rai", Aoi warned.

Faculty.
Rai stood in front of Veena. "I dont see why you're classmates are too much fascinated with a carefree person", Veena sighed. "Dont judge the kid", one of her co-teachers teased. "You have called me?", Rai asked. "I wanted you to monitor that student. I cant have a student in my class that will destroy the class' identity", Veena instructed. Rai just nodded and went out of the faculty room ."Do you have anything against Aoi?", Hino waited for her outside the faculty room. "I was just busy", Rai answered. Hino grabbed her wrist. "We have to talk" Hino commanded.
