You'd Be A Hell Of A Pirate

Nightmare

I'm now sitting in Captain Quarters and thinking. Why am I here? I should be in my castle bedroom being the princess I am. Now I'm on a ship having no idea where I am going. I just had a night AND a morning with a pirate! What am I doing! Dad and Mom are probably worried sick about me. I get up from the spot where I am sitting and walk over to the door. I grab my sword and walk out. There are a bunch of men and they are all doing something productive. One with a red cap on walks towards me.

"Why, hello Miss." he says.

"Hi" I quietly reply.

"I'm Smee. I'm Captain's first mate." he says holding his hand out for a shake.

I grab his hand and shake it then let go.

"I'm Pri- Emma Swan." I say catching myself.

"Well, nice to have you here Emma." Smee says then walks away.

I walk around more and watch everyone closely. Someone grabs my butt and I quickly turn around. There stood a man with a sly grin on his face. I pull my sword out and press it against his throat.

"Do it again and this sword will go right through that throat of yours." I say threatening.

Everyone is now staring at me and the man starts backing up. Hook pushes his way through the crowd and up to me. He pushes my sword down and grabs the man.

"What did I bloody tell you about the lady!" he says as he is holding him by the collar.

"I'm sorry Captain! I won't do it again!" the man screams.

"I know you won't because you won't be on this Bloody Ship!" he says and walks over to the side of the boat with the man in his hands.

He shoves him off the side of the boat and the man falls into the ocean. I stand there shocked at what Hook just did.

Hook walks back to me and says, "You okay?"

"Ya, I'm fine." I say. "You didn't have to throw him overboard."

"Well, I don't know what it was like back home but things are different around here." he says and walks away.

I stand there for a few seconds but then snap myself back to reality. I walk around the ship some more and watch everyone.

When it starts getting dark I head back to Captain's Quarters and fall asleep in the small bed.

I'm in the forest running. I don't know why I am running from but I'm running hard. I get to the docks and see the Jolly Rodger. I go to get on but the boat leaves before I can get on. I look onto the boat and see Hook standing there looking at me. He waves his hook goodbye and I start to cry.

Mom comes up behind me and says,"Emma, this is why we don't mess with pirates. They are mean, cruel, and nasty."

I dig my head into Mom's shoulder and cry. Hook left me. He doesn't love me. He doesn't care.

I sit up and pant heavily. I'm sweating and crying. I get up from the bed where I was alone and wipe the sweat and tears from my face. I walk out of the Quarter's and onto the deck. I see Hook staring at the ocean and I walk over to him.

"Hello, Swan." he says stilling looking at the ocean.

"What are you looking at?" I ask curious.

"The ocean. It calms me." he says. I nod even though he can't see me. I look at the ocean the same as him. After a bit he asks me, "Why are you up? It's the middle of the night."

"That's a good question, Hook. Why are you up?" I say giving him a squinted eye look.

"I usually don't go to sleep. Only when it's necessary. Also, I didn't want to wake you up." he says. I nod again and look back at the ocean. "So, why are you up, Love?"

"Just woke up I guess." I say hiding the nightmare.

Hook looks at me and says, "Swan, why did you wake up?"

"It was just a nightmare." I say.

"What happened." Hook said.

"Nothing." I say avoiding eye contact.

"Emma" he says.

"I'm okay." I say now looking into his deep blue ocean eyes.

He nods and looks back at the ocean. I also look back and clear the nightmare from my mind.
